  1. Oh great. 10pm start and the snoozefest monotone gomes is doing color.... I’ll be asleep by the 3rd
  2. what if we need a pinchrunner though?!?
  3. his splitter is DEVASTATING
  4. 2b is his natural position. his ankle is so swole it looks like a knee. waiting on Jameyson....CYA cant just let him play....
  5. as of now Mookie is playing pending final signoff by our crack medical staff....
  6. nah. i'll give him a few games of stinky before i take any shots. numb fingers from cold air should not be an issue tonight in Anaheim....
  7. Will be a late night. West coast trips are usually death for the Sox. Psyched to see ohtani pitch.
  8. duplicate post
  9. i dont care if he gets 34 no decisions as long as the team wins. just like last year i did not care if he got the stupid 300k's as his arm was dead in October from it. his personal stats are meaningless to me.
  10. i cannot divulge the teams but.... we were bidding against 2 AL teams for Hanley. 0 NL. we were only bidding against 1 NL team for panda. (you can probably guess which one). 0 AL. we only bid against ourselves for Price. 1 other AL team was floating contract offers but these were never to be taken serious.
  11. Throwing a baseball as hard as you can 60’6” to a 17” wide box is not the same as sliding into a base. But you know that.
  12. He’s a professional baseball player that has slid into 2nd base in games and practice a thousand times in his career. He 100% without a doubt knows how to slide without lifting his foot to spike the opposing player. He 100% without a doubt intentionally tried to spike holt.
  13. Is it too early to love this team??
  14. I thought about this for awhile. I rewatched the play on both nesn and Baltimore feed. JBj first step and route was perfect. The ball was hit so hard it caused him to do the awkward sprinting “jump” at the ball as it whistled over his head. It was a great try and would most certainly been a 5star catch. All that said, coco may have caught it
  15. I’m worried about Hanley’s wrist. We have seen with other players over and over how hand injuries can linger the entire season sapping power.
  16. Post of the day.
  17. My dad was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan. Post west coast move after a few years of the baseball wilderness.... Like many of them he became a Metropolitans fan. At least we have the dislike of the Yankees in common...
  18. his head stays on the ball. just google image jackie bradley swing.
  19. it's not secret that i have probably been the TS poster that has been toughest on Price. that said, i voted "makes his next start". i am rooting for him to prove me wrong all year long right to the duckboats.....
  20. that is not the explanation of "rivalry" to me. if that is the case....every team we play this year or that plays the other teams in our division would be our rival. do you consider the brewers your rival?
