    FUN FACT: 2013 thru 2018 new york yankees payroll: $1,288,000,000 / $215,000,000 per season boston red sox payroll: $1,179,000,000 / $197,000,000 per season new york yankees parades: 0 boston red sox parades: 2 if boston was "buying" championships...what on earth were the new york yankees buying?????

    dude cant even type Red Sox. or even Sox. too funny. Boston is in his head big-time. the % difference in what the yankees salaries when they bought their championships and for the first 8 years of this century when they couldnt get a parade vs what the rest of the league was spending during those same years is FAR and away a larger % difference then the Red Sox (or is it sawx?) payroll vs the rest of the league when we have had our 4 parades in the 21st century.....

    i dont think either deal signed this offseason is over the top spending (see: price contract). and neither one effects the threshold for this season which has been my contention for lack of closer signing. i believe it still holds true.

    sure looks like it. i wonder if the owners have the threshold in mind for the new CBA and JH knows that even with these extensions they will be under the tax once the new CBA is agreed upon?
