    Trumpfs tax plan cost me an extra $3k this year. there's that. i'm not sure i will be making my annual trip to Fenway this year. i was honestly shocked how empty Baltimore was the past 3 nights. especially last night with sale on the bump. Sad!

    looks like the annual JBj thread will once again be the longest player thread on TalkSox. IMO cora will give him this homestand to get going. if he stays ice cold at the dish - the next road trip we may see more of JD in the OF or Chavis may get a shot to play LF. my guess it will be a mix of both until Holt can see again. either is not ideal for this fan but i would understand the move.

    always good to go on record with what you would have done. Otta has been good, britton has sucked, and kimbrel is in purgatory. the first 2 are at the beginning of 3 year expen$ive contracts. the 3rd one wants an even more expen$ive contract. i dont think JH was going to do a $300MM payroll.

    he has been so bad in his recent AB's perhaps just making contact with the ball via bunt is what Cora was looking for. the bunt was a good one and vaz has been firecracker hot and hitting the ball hard so it wasnt the normal 8 batter bunting in front of 9 batter situation. IMO.
