Both starters needed about 60 pitches to get through the first 2 innings, so this looks like a bullpen game and maybe ours is tired Nice 3d for Bello. 10 pitches, no runs.

Since Gonzalez hit well in the last 2 games vs the Pirates, I guess I'm OK with him playing today-- Anthony, Bregman, Duran, Story, Lowe, Yoshida, Gonzalez, Rafaela, and Narvaez NESN just said the Sox have lost their last 5 home games. Nevertheless, in all 5 games attendance was over 36,000. g

I'm not convinced Mayer will continue to ride the sick list. This wrist thing is a repeat because they didn't do surgery the first time. I'm glad you reminded me he is our best choice next season
