In this case. A player didn't perform well. I'm sure the player didn't perform well, the FO knew the player didn't perform well, the fans knew he didn't perform well. Yuck is about the nicest thing I can think of anyone saying about the performance. If you can't handle a critisizm of yuck in your profession. Or if you can't realize what the whole world would understand by you in your role as a yuck performance...... then you need to come to grips with reality. I can't imagine there is anyway this one thing brought this whole situation on. The players must have more issues than Eck with just the E-Rod performance. I guess JBJ isn't a fan, but he's off his rocker if he couldn't take what was said about hit during his beginning years. Yuck....... you have to be kidding me. How about Price isn't worth the money he is paid, or E-Rod is contantly hurt and can't be trusted..... Yuck is the nicest way to put some of the struggles these players have had.... And now it's a cluster yuck due to them.....

I know one of you posted about this before, I'm not sure who. And I did in the game thread. But when I really started to think something was wrong was when Mookie ran threw Butters sign at third to hold up at third. Mookie kept running and was out by a mile. As a player, I'd never not do what the thirdbase coach was telling me. And in this case, we have an extended veteran coach getting shown up by a younger player. And after the play they showed Mookie laughing it up in right. So he never got chewed out, or if he did, he didn't care. Something about that whole situation struck me odd.

Eck openly cheers for this team during broadcasts, and gives kudos when it is due. I've never heard him trash a player even when struggling. I just don't get it. Ecks criticism is mild compared to many. I think Price is a problem.

I can't remember being so angry at a player before. i hope Price goes away. I'm also angry at the group of cheerleaders he had with him, and since I don't know who that is, I'm kind of just angry with the entire team. And yea, management or the FO should have done something. I'm kind of sickened by it all....

It sucks Price had a bad outing. I'm actually a huge fan of his workhorse number 2 style. I'd wager good money he comes back next outing and throws a quality start. We need that type of guy in the rotation. Although, I think in a fight between him and Eck, Eck is Psycho enough to grab a champaign bottle and crack it over Prices's head for the K.O. Eck would win the brawl...

I think we are average on offense. Exactly middle of the pack. Defense has been really good, especially of late. Starting has been very good, and hopefully with Price and Erod and Porcello gettin better may be the best in the MLB, I think already best in the AL. Bullpen, very good........ but getting worked hard, but probably every team saying the same......

Yea...... I should have said.... if you stick with him he's interesting, especially when talking about his experience in the MLB. In general for a broadcaster, I give him the thumbs down, he doesn't have ANY flair.............. but he has stories that other broadcasters don't have. And Timlin was one of those guys that got a bad rap, he was a workhorse that had some good and bad outings, but he was crucial to winning a championship...
