It seems like he makes a great catch and it's like, all right, that's the best one. Then he makes another catch and it's like, OK, that's the best one. It seems like he's always raising the bar."

    I'm still laughing thinking about a reunion night. I don't know who those guys are......... but I've seen my fair share of crack pots on message boards and the thought of letting all the lounies in for a night sounds like a good old beer and popcorn night for sure....     In the short few years I've been on this site....... we throw out bullcrap and talk like Pirates in the game thread and that's alright by me.... it makes me feel like I'm home hanging with my hometown baseball and Sox friends........ this is tame......... ever watch a game with a Hockey fan.............? those guys remind me of scenes from the Exorcist.

    What the f*** are you talking about Dunning Krueger???? Just this game..... It's already a blow out....... They gave him the ok for this game....... so he might be alright................ another day off may be better........

    Just two days ago he's getting an MRI because he's hurt. This game was over in the first 20 minutes...... we don't need him in there. Just an observation. Maybe he is Wolverine and heals faster than most........... Have to say hand injuries can linger........ especially when hitting the ball and the force a hand can take over and over again from doing so......... not sure why it seems so crazy to let him sit............

    If I was DD. And I'm not talking pitching staff. Betts is the only player on the the team that is off the tables as far as a trade. I know .....I know....... I'm probably not moving Pedey. Or Xbo or Benni or JBJ. But I'm willing to talk about giving us a slugger for one of them in some mega trade for slugging for slap hitting. But Betts, is off the table......

    Was it a Simpson episode where Homer found that adding a food binge to messing around with the wife was the perfect combo. I think it got derailed when Marge found out what he was doing.... my wife would derail me if she even knew I entertained that thought............ but no foul to dreaming....

    I really thought E-Rod would be a solid 2 spot and show it this year. He was my suprise pick to break out this year. I still don't know how he hits 95 with an effortless delivery. But now, I'd agree. I think he's going to just have issues through his career. And I forget who we got him from. But they pretty much gave up on him because he didn't show much effort.

    We were talking about it before in some thread....... but up 5 runs wish Sale on the mound is a great time for the radio. You can do some other stuff, like wash the dishes or have sex with the wife, and still make sure you don't miss anything important in the game and go back to the TV if it gets close.

    I use to go to A's games for 25 bucks and sit a few rows up just behind the catcher. It's more the Sox than baseball. Heck, what are ticket prices in Tampa?

    I didn't live in the East Coast for almost half a decade before 2004, so I hadn't gone to Fenway in years proceeding the first Championship. I wonder how much prices jumped after 2004? And after 2007. Maybe I was wrong about baseball, and should be more angered at Fenway and those that run it. I've always thought that Maine should issue an id showing that you lived and grew up there, and that all seafood sold should be a quarter of the price if you showed your id. I'm joking, but there should be a Fenway id, if you live in the Boston area beers and hot dogs are half price and tickets are a third off.

    Maybe Valazquez out of the pen could be a good thing going forward. He doesn't seem to have the stuff for a lineup to look at him three times around...

    Which is probably the most important. The latest team I can remember that pretty much held the best record and was predicted to win it all and did was the Cubs....... before that I can't think of a team. Didn't a wild card win the WS for a good stretch of time recently.....?
