Good on ya for posting in a language that is not your first....... that takes balls...... I've lived in a few other countries, and English is my wife's third language....... I butcher two other languages than English..... . It's not easy........ and takes balls to fail publicly sometimes...

aHAHAah.... This whole post could be a tag line for this entire forum...... Who knows, we are just speculating.......... We can say trade this person, or keep this person. But we never will know who is being offered for who or what someone will take for who........ Someone should make a documentary from filming a GM all year with every phone call taped. PAAALEASE get something going on offense JBJ....... The less we need to focus on fixing the offense, the more we can spend on fixing the rotation. If Craig or JBJ figured it out, it would be a huge relief. I think this time it's two strikes your out, if JBJ doesn't do well......sayonora, no third chance and he has had more or a chance than most people get.

Who hasn't though. Seriously. They must have come down with some kind of sickness in May. I hear you, he has been tough to watch flailing away at pitches over his head. And I can't get that image of him bobbling the ball, twice, then trying to throw the runner out when the runner was on first, and launching it past Napoli. I'm looking at his yearly stats, and his defense rating is so down from what his normal number are, they stand out like a sore thumb. I think there are players that can't cut it in Boston, playing in Beantown is a beast. But a guy who ups the ante in the playoffs would seem to be a guy that would succeed in Boston's year long playoff mentality. Yea, 17 mil is quite a bit. I wish I was a stat person. I really want to rate 3rd baseman against him and their salaries. But to me he has been showing game, and comes with a background of showing game, and I think will up his game. As always, he could be moved. But I see him having a position at least. Again, what is Hanley's position other than a 22 mil a year dh? I'm ok with Sandoval at third for the time being......

His DWAR had been in the negatives this year just until recently, so he is improving. Previous years it had been just ok. I think we have seen him at his worst. Check out Hanley's DWAR for this year and his career. It's not so hot. Hanley is a hitter when he is healthy. Hanley is going to kill himself someday out in left going for a ball.

And this makes things even more strange for me. If it is the coaches decision, and yes they have a game plan and the catcher is making most of the calls, why aren't they out there taking the blame. If I'm Porcello, and someone is messing with my game. And my game is my paycheck, and that person wont fess up to messing up my game and I have to take the blame. Then I'm going to be pissed at the at that person. Something doesn't make sense.

This changing approaches bugs me. I've seen it mentioned only on this site and haven't seen it elsewhere. Porcello is definitely not pitching as many sinkers. And the FO would know this, and would change that if they felt it wasn't the right thing to do. But also wouldn't the FO talk about changing the approach more and not let blame of him failing to pitch well fall almost entirely on Porcello?

I got an idea...... let's trade Hanley Ramirez for Beckett and Lowell....

Everyone on the team should be on the table. Never hurts to ask or hear offers and negotiate. Maybe not Papi, as we can let him finish out the year. Perdroia is another one that might need to be a keeper just cause of the history involved and how it would look to trade him..... But everything should always be negotiable..

Flip a coin, bring up JBJ or Craig........ tell them to s*** or get off the pot. Trade Hanley straight up to some total sucker that we can convince he is still a third baseman and not a 22 mil a year DH. Use torture methods to make them agree to the deal. (I know this isn't going to happen) Sandoval....... stays.........and does better next year. Search for one other dominate starter. Paired with E-Rod and surrounding cast. Get two dominate starters and we buy WS tickets early. Unless things turn around...... so long Papi.......... Superman, E-Rod, and the following three we figure out. BUchholtz is probably in the mix. Please, one of the rest of the rotation figure it out. Bullpen shop. Taz and Uehara stay...... ...
