  1. If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to see that. I'd love to see the numbers from guys like West, Hernandez and Laz Diaz
  2. Not sure about this, but maybe Dojji meant individual ump stats, not umps in general. You know MLB will never do that. They go out of their way to protect umps.
  3. Because, as tough as this might be for you to bear, you're occasionally wrong. Since Yaz has not been calling Babe a troll.
  4. Oh good lord, it was a joke!
  5. Yup, having never pitched in the AL, I'm not sure how well he'd do against the AL East.
  6. Your opinion on Pedrioa is the main reason no one should take your "no-brainer" posts seriously.
  7. Just dumb.
  8. Those extra three outs were awesome!
  9. Mookie Betts RF Dustin Pedroia 2B Xander Bogaerts SS David Ortiz DH Hanley Ramirez 1B Chris Young LF Jackie Bradley Jr. CF Josh Rutledge 3B Christian Vazquez C Things can change quick. Hanley back in, evidently, per WEEI.
  10. Or, we could not have stroke every time someone makes a thread. Just a thought...
  11. Not to be confused with Joe Kerrigan...
  12. Those players are in that position because they're usually not all that good. It's low hanging fruit to say they stink. Except when they don't....
  13. Yup, we know what he is as a hitter. What we don't know is if he can improve enough defensively to be a good catcher. The place to do that is Pawtuckett, not Boston.
  14. Swihart is hitting .278 for the year and .250 in AAA. I don't see the overwhelming need to bring him back to Boston yet.
  15. I suggest you start packing.
  16. No sweat. We're trading for Trout...
  17. Yeah, I'd say that Ortiz has the "needs to have greater offense" thing pretty well covered.
  18. Agreed. Mike Holley, from WEEI, was all over Hanley, and convinced he was going to fail at 1st base, bacause he had to borrow a glove at the start of spring training. I usually like Holley, but that was trying too hard to find something to whine about. Some fans eat that crap us, for some reason.
  19. In a nutshell, we expect perfection. Little wonder we're continually disappoined and pissed off.
  20. What's the White Sox's record?
  21. Yeah, I've read bits and pieces about how bad the political corruption down there is. A byproduct of being the base of operations for the Patriarca family, I suppose.
  22. It's the government. If they hadn't wasted the money on Schilling's business, they would've wasted it on something else.
  23. Well, now we know who edited out Schillings game from ESPNs 4 Days in October.
