  1. Tonite he has the bases loaded with no one out and down 3-1 for the Jays right now
  2. I would settle for a 4.50 ERA for our #7 SP
  3. Lavarnay can hit, but he cannot field. Thats a problem. Not sure he will ever be a ML catcher.
  4. I don't understand what the idea of signing him was if not to see what he could do for us, first in the minors (decent) then up with the Sox. I mean, why even bother giving him a contract. I don't think he will be the new Cliff Lee, but I KNOW I don't want to see Miller on the mound EVER AGAIN for the team.
  5. At some point you have to admit that its not working. Its not just one start. Its at least two. And the others were against weak NL teams that can't hit. The wildness problem is still there. There are other #7 SP available to try out. Doubront at least has potential.
  6. You really want to see more of Miller? I don't.
  7. Doubront pitched just two + innings this year. He needs another chance; so does Millwood.
  8. The Marlins AND the Tigers. I don't think he can go down again. If they do that I believe he can become a FA. Thats the good news. Maybe the Yankmees will pick him up to replace El Guapo Colon.
  9. I would rather see Doubrant or Aceves start than Miller. Hell, I would rather see Atchison start.
  10. Lets see....three runs down.....Miller vs Price. Negative on the very winnability hypothesis. Unlikely is a better choice of words.

  12. First, Miller didn't do well in his last start either. And second, his wildness problem has not yet been solved. Other teams have given him a shot and he was released from them too. There is no need to keep trying to squeeze water from a rock; there are alternatives.
  13. Sure. Lets give up the rest of them to rent a pitcher for two months
  14. Miller is the new DiceK. Its safe to say that the Andrew Miller experiment is over. And to think that we have another stiff going tomorrow night.....maybe Beckett will win on Sunday.
  15. I can't see Epstein trading away any top level prospects because our farm system is now ranked average to below average as the four links below illustrate. Its time to rebuild that system, not rape it. http://www.aolnews.com/2011/02/10/2011-farm-system-rankings/ http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/prospects/rankings/organization-talent-rankings/2011/2611472.html http://www.deepleagues.com/?p=2336 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/561480-mlb-power-rankings-farm-systems-for-every-mlb-team#/articles/561480-mlb-power-rankings-farm-systems-for-every-mlb-team/page/12
  16. At what price? Bedard is another pitcher who is probably available and he has performed well, but again, at what price? They won't be cheap. And if Lester and CB do make it back what do we do with our new SP? I would rather get a quality RHH corner OF to replace Drew.
  17. You If they do not wake up soon we will be out of the ALE race. On June 29, 2011 you said this. Good call lmao, oh noes we lost to ze Phillies it's over!!!!! Did I say that we ARE out of the ALE race? If so, find the quote. If not, admit that you are a fool. You: http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm138/sawyer1701/IMG_0767.jpg
