    Yankees winning; Rays winning. Sure was nice to get out of last place for a single night.

    Are we really going to allow this guy to limit us to one run? He throws junk up there and our batters are watching the game and not paying attention tonite. This game is almost over......:-)

    The Orioles pitching is coming down to earth. They now rank fourth in the AL in pitching; they were first. Still much better than our pitching overall, but sinking. I never thought that this Orioles team was capable of staying in playoff contention for the entire year. Our competition will be the Yankees and the Rays, as it has been for years. BTW: where have you been?

    That stadium fills up only when Red Sox fans fill it up. Even the Red Sox cannot draw fans like they used to when they are in last place.

    So what are you saying? Because the Yankees and Orioles have problems with their lower tier SP we should not try to improve ours? Bard excelled in the pen, and I think he could excel there again. Sign Oswalt and send Bard back to the bullpen. That gives us the best chance to be competitive this year.
