I have to admit that the bullpen has surprised me. They have really come around and are pitching very well. Unfortunately, they don't usually get started until the fifth inning.

Pretty sad how this popgun offense is beating up on our pitching staff. Hard to win games when you surrender 7 runs. The Rays offense is just average, at best.

Exactly. Thats why most of them must go before substantive change can occur. That will take years with the long extravagant contracts that were handed out. Not a good situation at all. Thats why we are 13th in the AL in ERA.

We also have BUMHOLTZ and BarF. And Beckett is too inconsistent to be any good. That leaves Doubront. We are already f***ed. Thats what happens to team that are second to last in pitching. Generally, they suck.

Back below .500 where teams like these STIFF belong. Thats the way its going to be all season: few games below .500, .500, maybe a game or two over. This team just plain stinks.
