We just look terrible-at home or on the road. This team has the talent to be competitive, but for whatever reason they are sleepwalking this year. Sad to see a team mailing it in like this.

This team sucks guys. Just two games over .500 and after this loss, one. I enjoyed last year, as we all did, but this team will not be playing October baseball. They are sleepwalking.

Nunez also sucks, but everyone needs to get some playing time, even Bradley.

Sorry. Bradley has played himself out of a job....you have to be able to hit the baseball.

This is just not a very good team. I can't see them making the playoffs this year.

While we could use a guy like Bumgartner I think our main need is not SP-its the bullpen. We don't need to give up Chavis to get a bullpen arm. Kimbrel is still out there.

Sale is throwing 95 consistently again....where is Jacko who said he didn't have that any more?

Chavis at 2B is much better than Devers at 3B defensively. Devers is still playing despite his defensive liability; Chavis isn't going anywhere as long as he continue to hit and is better than Devers in the field.

If he quits now he can delay the need for a total knee replacement. He will still need one eventually. He certainly cannot help the Red Sox any more.

Pedroia was scratched from his game in Portland.....not sure if anyone posted this elsewhere. He really needs to retire. His knee is shot.

So far his defense has been acceptable. His dwar is above 0. On what objective basis do you think he defense sucks?

I don't think he has played much 2B in the minors....could be wrong. He is still learning the position, so his footwork might be a work in progress. He has, overall, been a pleasant surprise so far.

Chavis came into this game with an OPS over 1.000. He is going to strike out. He is also going to hit some tape measure jobs. And he has looked decent defensively.

Are you happy being a .500 club after 38 games? I am not. 700 is right: it was a mistake by Cora not to have his SPs prepared to start the season. They will be digging out of the hole that he put them in for a long time.

Probably. Its why Chavis was taking fly balls in the OF before the game.
