    Bradley is demoted to AAA. Martinez in LF; Benni in CF; and Betts in RF. Bradley CANNOT be allowed to play every day any more.

    As I recall the disagreement was about 95, not 99. I am not sure he will get quite to 99. But as you said, at 95 he will be effective. Earlier this year he was at 92-93.

    I think the closer should be used in the late innings to pitch to the best hitters on the opposing team, even if its not the ninth inning.

    Not for nothing, but Sale has been throwing pretty consistently at 95 when he dials it up. I remember that you and I had a minor disagreement about this. Seems his arm is fine.

    The point is that there are options. Not great ones, but leaving Bradley in the lineup is simply no longer an option. He can come in as a defensive replacement in the late innings if he is still on the team....I would not mind seeing him on the phantom DL for a long long time.

    Sorry. I am data driven and I don't depend on your eyes (or mine for that matter). You are not going to convince anyone that moving Betts to CF will somehow automatically make him a bad OF. He is a GG OF in RF; he will be at least acceptable in CF. We could also move Benni to CF, his natural position. One thing is for sure: we cannot afford Bradley and his bat in the lineup any more. Just to refresh your memory, coming into this game he is batting .146/.430 with an awful OPS+ of 18. Thats 18!!!. He had his chance; he proved he cannot hit. He MUST sit.

    Show me data to prove that Betts is an awful CF. I can show you data that Bradley doesn't belong in the lineup.

    Good point. Bogaerts has been sleepwalking for days. Error yesterday (should have had two)....and no hustle today.

    Yes he is. Betts in CF, JD in right. Demote Bradley and bring someone up who might possibly be able to hit the baseball. Or wait until Holt gets back...he has to be close. Bradley sits. Betts is a good OF; I am not buying your assertion that he sucks in CF. Sorry.
