  1. This would not be a bad move but with BJ Upton there now i dont think they need a CF Id like to see the Sox working something out with the DBacks on a trade for Justin Upton or possibly a trade for Trevor Bauer.. or a combination with both id throw iggy in there because the DBacks are wanting a shortstop
  2. Salty for Floyd & Ellsbury + a prospect for a #1 I dont think that would be too bad Move Victorino to center & go after Cody Ross & Josh Hamilton Only thing left is to get Brian Wilson to close... Offseason Complete Victorino peddy hamilton nap ortiz c ross Middlebrooks lav/d ross iggy Now thats a good line up
  3. The Shane Victornio deal has finally had time to sink in... Reports have said that Cody Ross is still not being ruled out in Boston. Im really not sure about the door being open I figured it was locked shut with the Victorino signing Jon Heyman said that Hamilton was still in play I hope that he is right This is getting interesting
  4. Ok lets just see how this plays out. Gomes/Kalish in left, Ellsbury in center, & Victorino in right Like to see a Hamilton in left instead of a platoon. Where with Victornio hit in this current lineup?
  5. If the Red Sox did sign Shane Victornio then No Alcohol of any kind should ever be allowed at the winter meetings again!!! All we can hope for now is that he fails the physical. "So your telling me thiers a chance!!!" - Dumb and Dumber
  6. Victornio hasnt agreed to the terms the red sox has reportedly offered correct?
  7. Any news on the starting Rotation during the 2nd day of the winter meetings?
  8. In my opinion yes in this situation it does come down to the money. I had no problem with him in Philly, i thought he was a solid player there. But 38 mil is just a lil much. Supposedly a team has offered him a 4 year deal. I hope he takes that. I wonder if this is true and all the reports are accerate if he will be Boston's new center fielder and the FO is gonna package Ellsbury into a deal to get a front of the line starting pitcher? I hope not... i love ellsbury (when healthy) slotted in at leadoff i dont think shane victorino in right and an outfield of Gomes/Kalish, Ellsbury, & Victorino is gonna make a boom in ticket sales. I like the fact that the FO is trying to change the atmosphere in the clubhouse from the chicken and beer to a more upbeat good hearted guys. But still that dont buy us WINS i guess the FO is just looking to have guys who are in a good mood even when losing 90+ games. I hope all the reports are wrong.
  9. I just saw on MLB Tonight that Nick Cafardo tweeted that the Red Sox are the front runner for Shane Victorino on a 3 year 38 million deal... I hope this is just a cruel joke. I thought Cody Ross had priced his way outta town but that 3 year 38 we could get Ross id rather have him in right than Vicortino. & Ken Rosenthal reported that Josh Hamilton talks with the Rangers are heating up on what he believes is a 4 year deal. Come on FO!! i didnt want Hamilton on a 6 or 7 year deal but a 4 or possibly 5 would not scare me too bad.
