    Dont think Brian Wilson will shave the beard & the Yankees wanting to give out only 1 year deals when teams will offer 2 will be hard for them to sign him The Beard is his Trademark plus the Mohawk a clean shaven Wilson would be surprising

    Even tho a lot tweets & reports are say that Hamilton will go to the Ranger or Seattle Im hoping that Seattle does help Texas land Justin Upton in the 4 team deal Simple fact is i think once Texas has a slugging outfielder they will be all in on Greinke And Seattle would be the worst place for a person with Hamilton abuse background to go it rains up there all the time talk about depression not a good combo Plus the ballpark up there is soo big that it hurts power hitters #s Hamilton in Boston would be awesome a lil flick of the wrist on a ball he is late on is off the monster his avg will be around.350 in Bean Town

    At current time we r a 70 win team we need help... it will take 90-95 wins to get in the postseason we need hamilton!!! & 2 starting pitchers if not 3

    I hope the Dodgers pass... i think they are the biggest threat to get him Wilson loves CA & CA girls so its our only hope to land him is if they pass Plus looking at both clubs for someone like Wilson he wants to win now Still the Giants could bring him back... but signing with a divison rival & closing for them could be bitter sweet for Wilson I want him on a 2 year deal... 1st year let him pitch in relief in the 7th or 8th then in year 2 let The Beard close... Paplebon had an electric presence... Wilson would trumph that

    2013 isnt gonna be that much different than 2014 I could just see the addition of the killer Bs 2013 Line-Up Ellsbury Peddy Hamilton Nap Ortiz WMB Salty/Ross (Lav prolly go back to AAA) Victorino Iggy 2014 Line-Up Victorino Peddy Hamilton Nap Ortiz WMB Lav/Ross (Salty gets traded at some point during 2013 Bradley Jr Xander Let the boys hit at the bottom of the order so they can break in nicely

    This is slow playing the Hamilton deal like when they landed Crawford i dont think until mid part of the season ill be happy with the Victorino signing Vic ill have to have gold glove defense & some power numbers by the ASB to impress me An outfield of Hamilton Ellsbury & Victorino with Gomes giving Hamilton breaks Hamilton at 140games played can still put up MVP numbers thats why we should get him It will prolly take more than 3 years id say 5 would get him or 4 with a option I wouldnt be surprised if by tomorrow evening we are talking bout the Red Sox signing him

    3/39 I dont like him in boston period id rather let one of our prospects get a shot Dempster would be the worst sign it makes no sense Spend money elsewhere Red Sox!!! We need trades to happen so we all dont have to take anymore stomach pills Rumors like this is what I hate about the Winter Meetings I wished they would not allow alcohol into the Opryland Hotel See what happens when executives with millions to spend get drunk we get Dempsters

    Hahaha true... I would like to see Ellsbury for Bauer Upton is prolly goin to Texas... Reports of a three team deal involving Texas AZ & Cleveland That would package Bauer im sure Seattle is prolly the only team to give up a top prospect to get Ells i know nothing about seattle farm system... who could we get from them ?

    Salty for Gavin Floyd is becoming a popular discussion Ellsbury + 1 should get us a # 2or 3 starter who is willing to take a risk & think Ellsbury will be healthy & trade him at the deadline because only a few select teams will be in the bidding next offseason i say the team we trade ells for at the start of season gets traded again

    Sanchez on a 4 year 60 - 65million is prolly what he will get Reports say he is in the 90 - 100 discussions I hope the Red Sox dont pull the trigger on a deal like that but all things are possible I would rather trade for SP & give up prospects than hurt the payroll flexibility We need SP that is a fact but I dont want to break the bank on a projected #2 Trade for SP & break the bank on offensive monsters

SP FA market is over paid & will hold the red sox hostage for years to come Hope they just spend move on Hamilton & C Ross I dont think that overspending on Hamilton will be that horrible of idea Reports say the Rangers are in talks at 4 years.. I think it will have an extra yr to get him So say 5yr/125 mil If the red sox just go 4 and even if the outbid texas i still think he goes back there Hamilton could DH & maybe play 1B (maybe is the key here) in years 4 or 5 At 1B he would stay healthier too... but with the Green Monster that could prolong his career Cody Ross will prolly be in the 3 year 25 to 30 range based on what Victorino got Send ellsbury & salty packing for SP along with some prospects

    Agreed If Ellsbury is kept to the end of the season & the Sox are in the running I could see Seattle going all in for a guy like Ellsbury Only way i see Ellsbury staying is having another injury plagued season so his market is down

    Well said... i think Ells will be moved before the season starts But they could keep him & see if he has a good 1st half then trade him at the deadline If he does have a good 1st half then a front line starter would be easier to obtain But with Victorino signed & reports of Boston still kicking round on Hamilton & C Ross Id say Ells is out for a middle of the rotation guy + a prospect to a team with pitching A team like AZ because Upton is all but gone & they could throw $ at scott boras next year

    Lincucem in Boston would be awesome!!! Im not sure what his salary is... But that would be a nice trade The Giants coming off a World Series are prolly not gonna trade any SP pitching Especially since Tim came out of the bullpen & showed how deciated he was to the team The Giants do have a surplus of SP & if we could get him to would make that trade I know he had a down year in 2012 & now is the time to strike while the iron is hot He would prolly be the best option out there Pitchers like Lincucem change the game & the face of the rotation & i dont see pitchers like Price or King Felix coming to Boston via trade we have too many good prospects to risk years for 1 pitcher Does Lincecum have a No Trade? Because if he does he'll stay in SF no doubt

    The big market wouldnt be that much of an issue for shields or price They both are big game pitchers i think they will do well in a big market As far as Ellsbury in a package for 1 of those guys id see sheilds a more likely than price Price would take 2 if not all the Killer Bees to Land Him Dont get me wrong i would love to see Price as our #1 But trading Price in the divison especially to the Red Sox is highly unlikely Thats what dreams are made of tho Price Lester Bucholtz Floyd & Lackey Two top of the line pitchers to battle the Yankees on that little league right field wall I think Price & Lester as 1 - 2 makes a lot of sense having to left handers head up the staff

    I thought Drew would be a Red Sox before the Meetings started But now it being day three Im wondering if he will be a Red Sox or not The Rangers dont want to trade their young shortstop prospect I think they will trade for Upton once they see Hamilton is leaving town

    For some reason I dont think that getting Upton is gonna take our top tier of prospects not when u throw Ellsbury & Iggy into a package Wouldnt let any of the Killer Bees go no matter what cant wait to see them in fenway

    Thanks a700 I think the trade for Floyd for Salty makes a lot of sense straight up Trade Ellsbury + Iggy + 1 or 2 prospects to the DBacks for Upton & Bauer The Rangers are wanting Upton & the Guardians are wanting Bauer Swoop in & get both & that will be the move of the year Let Upton hit toward the bottom of the order so he dont have any pressure on him Hamilton Nap & Ortiz will do all the heavy hitting Rotation Lest Buch Floyd Bauer Lacky i would also sign Brandon McCarthy as insurance for Lackey on a 1yr deal Brain Wilson is a Definite let him throw the 7th or 8th until he is ready to close
