With the way Bradley is progressing it's not crazy to think he could be ready by mid 2013. What if they shop Ellsbury a bit and see who bites and offers what? I don't think it'd be the worst idea considering his tendency to get injured it's only a matter of time before it happens again! -

How much truth do the King Felix rumors have to them? I'm starting to hear alot more about it lately, so i'm hoping theres something to it. Cherington better not even think about moving Bradley or Bogaerts for him though -
Hopefully it's some crazy European tycoon who knows nothing about the game

Hernandez would be great to have, but who else would we have to throw in the deal? My untouchables would be 1. Bradley 2. Bogaerts. Anybody else is fair game in my book

Agreed, Anything other than 1B is a possibility for him in the infield. I also heard the Theo quote and first thing I thought was that is some serious high praise from a prominent baseball mind. Not to mention you never really hear him praising players like that

I don't know why they're making such a big deal of it. The kid had an interview in which he stated Tulo and Jeter being big and it not mattering. I have to agree with him on the fact that I don't think being tall translates to slow and cant cover the area of SS. I don't think it's a crazy stretch to think that we may see him in the 2013 call ups in august-september, but it is asking alot considering he's in A ball now.. Hope he does get called up

I really hope they do move him up. I'm a believer in if they're producing then move em up. I wish scouts and front office personnel wouldn't be so weary of advancing young players. Also If he stays at SS at AA which I'm sure he will, I'd rather have him there over Gibson no disrespect

That some pretty good company. I don't think it all that hard to believe he'd move to OF though. Good athleticism, range, size.. Bj Upton-like?

Would it be safe to assume Bradley will be there in CF come 2013? Maybe even Bogaerts or Jacobs. Sox Prospects doesn't have any of these guys in Pawtucket to start off 2013 though. I found that suprising especially given the way all of these guys are playing (especially Bradley)

Loyalty is lacking in sports, so I hope they do sign long-term eventually with the Nats. Even though it would be great having one of them

I've kind of given up a little on Tejeda over the past 2 years. That has to be the only thing holding him back though, I mean he's basically hitting .400 right now, which is insane!

Why isn't he in Portland right now, or maybe even Pawtucket? A 22 year old who's that good shouldn't be in A ball. Ok I get it they're trying to move him along slowly, but .370 is impressive at any level

Wow Barnes had 12 K huh. Consistency will be key obviously with him, but I too would like to see Bradley at least get to AA by the end of the season, which Im sure he will with those numbers. 22 is too old for a legit prospect to be playing in single A (in my book)

Does Stanton want to be known as Giancarlo or Mike? Now almost everywhere I look it's Giancarlo (which I think fits the Marlins better), but I deff think they will be contenders. The Mets are very mediocre as always. The Phillies will be there, but with the new playoff system the Marlins will benefit

Bogaerts will top that list soon now that Middlebrooks is on his way to being an everyday 3B .. I see Iggy is down to #12 on the list now haha.. I want to see that kid succeed so badly, but he just cant put the bat on the ball consistently enough

I'm a huge believer in Bogaerts, but if there was ever a chance to get Felix for Bogaerts and others (Assuming Middlebrooks and Iggy) then go for it. You'd just have to hope Youk turns it around if Middlebrooks isn't around, but if theres one pitcher in baseball who has a chance at hitting 300 wins it's him, and it'd be cool to see him in a sox uniform instead of the..Mariners blah

This kid is an absolute stud! I think he'll crack about 15 dingers.. Anymore than that and he's over-producing, which i'm sure the Nats wouldn't mind

Hate it to say it but Youk is deff over the hill. I'm a sucker for seeing the prospects develop in the bigs though, but if he produces why not keep him at third all season? Also what's Youks contract looking like? How many years?

Personally id give Iggy about another season to develop that swing and up the BA by at least .50. If he doesn't produce then screw bring the kid (Bogaerts) up to AAA and if he fares well then we may have our SS of the future. I know everyone is saying he's projected as a 3B at the big leage level, but Middlebrooks will be a great player in time. Why not have the best of both worlds? Let them play next to each other. I've seen nothing too negative about Bogaerts defensively. Now I know he's not Iglesias, but he's good in his own right

I love Middlebrooks game, but I feel like Xander has the higher ceiling. Id hate to see him traded then erupt in another organization. Then again I use to be high on Tejeda and Beltre (2 years ago), and they seem to have hit a BIG wall in the minors. You just never really know

I agree and yeah nothing before that obviously, but it would be cool to develop him a bit with the big boys instead of in Portland or Pawtucket
