  1. Brewers GM said Greinke WILL be traded by the deadline, but to who? Not sure what they'd ask for him from us but you'd have to think Lester and Barnes would be the top pitchers in the deal
  2. Have they ever considered maybe working him out in the offseason at SS? He could still end up there it's not that crazy to think
  3. Okay I think it's time to move him up so he can get some experience in AA before he starts there next year
  4. They need to go at least 23-16 to stay on pace with the wild card.. Hopefully something more like 29-10
  5. You make a very good point. There comes a time in alot of athletes careers where they need a change for themselves, not just the team.
  6. The more I think about it I suppose the answer would be no. We're stacked at SS in the minors( Iglesias, Bogaerts) and Hanley wouldn't stay at 3rd if he came cause of WMB
  7. Is anyone hearing anymore on Hanley for Crawford? I can't decide if I'd want that to happen or not
  8. Olney reported at 9am on sportscenter. To sum up his information, Garza is most likely our top possibility. Dempster is likely for either LA or Cubbies
  9. Olney is reporting Garza is a strong possibility, no word from Olney regarding Hanley. Dumpster oops meant Dempster is likely for Dodger or White sox
  10. Xander had a nice 3 hit game including 2 RBI the other day. Id really like to see him move to AA before the end of the minor league season, just so we see where he stands at that level
  11. Well this is just ridiculous Crawford had one bad year and we are already screaming trade. Cant say it surprises me, though this trade is absolutely not happening. Id be shocked if this trade fell through.. Keep Crawford, give him a full healthy year and then evaluate his future
  12. Hes been a trooper in the past with injuries. Hes certainly no stranger to the occasional cortisone shot either. As long as its a strain and not a tear I think we will be alright
  13. I dont know man Bradley is a stud. You make a good point with the *If aviles screws up bring in Iggy* and I wouldnt be against involving Lin in that deal at all. However, with that said I think the Mariners would still say no
  14. You think Aviles would be the missing piece in that deal?.. I said adding a barnes or bradley would be the only way to get them to consider it, because they would want prospects
  15. Clemens use to make people pay on the spot, even kids sometimes
  16. From alot of the interviews I read on Bogaerts it seems he is really hell-bent on staying at SS. I'm a believer that he can stay at the position, I don't think height should determine a players position. It's not like he can't cover the area he's one of the most athletic players we have in our system, if not the most athletic. I haven't heard of him working out any other position infield or outfield
  17. I take back what I said..Bring in Bradley!
  18. Sooo, Bradley seems to be adjusting well to AA. 326 average through about 30 games. Only a .30 drop from when he was in Salem. No homeruns yet, but i'm not really expecting him to pop 40 a year
  19. I'm not against Bradley playing RF at all, but it depends on many things. One of which you stated "How much Ellsbury demands". Bradley WILL be ready by the end of 2013 to be an everyday major league player. He's adjusting very well to double-A ball right now in Portland. Through about 30 games he's hitting .326, only a .30 drop from high-a Salem. That's pretty good if you ask me
  20. Does anyone know the timetable for his return after the ball to the face?
  21. When are the sox going to move De La Cruz up? I don't keep tabs on him too much but he's over 300 at .320 with over 10 homers. Still very young only 20 and with Bradley comfortably in Portland it should be time to move him to Salem
