WMB tried to bunt. Kuroda threw a fastball inside, it hit WMB's palm as he tried to pull the bat back, from his hand it was deflected to his Jewls and from there it went into the ump's knee. they both went down to the ground. After that the umps refused to give WMB first base, on the basis that either it went off his bat or maybe he didn't try to pull it back (He really did). WMB showed them the bruise on his hand as proof but they still didn't give him first. V came out and argued the s*** out of the call until he got ejected.

I don't know what the ump is thinking. V hit WMB in the hand before the inning in case this happens? I hope he homers here.

Walking Martin and letting Miller throw to Ichiro could've been an interesting option. Ichiro is only 1 from 8 with a single against Miller, and Ichiro is only .238 / .244 / .266 this year against lefties. Something to think about. Edit: I started writing that before Aceves ate his balls.
