  1. I'm not trying to start an argument. I missclicked a few times in the post and maybe made a few grammatical errors (English as a second language), but I believe you can get past this and understand what I tried to say. I don't believe this team's state is the front offices fault. I don't believe V or McClure are scapegoats. I also don't feel I'm in a place to criticize the FO, when they signed CC I was very happy (Maybe you criticized the hell out of that deal, I don't know) and so were the rest of the nation. Even in the Lackey deal I thought they overpayed but I didn't expect this. Nobody the Beckster meltdown. s*** happens, but you can keep your fingers in your pocket.
  2. I'm not saying you said we could'be woni it all, so you can stop throwing around terms you studied on a philosophy course you once took. What I'm saying is the front office is not to blame. The players suck, really badly. Nobody would pay for Crawford. If the FO didn't focus on Scutaro and spent some more bucks, would it really help? The team is full of high-paid less then replacement level players, CC, Dice, Jenks, Lackey etc'. Cherington isn't the brightest crayon in the pack but what he received was a sinking ship. It's easy to criticize but he couldn't have done anything really, the payroll is huge, the whole team is injured or in a slump. There isn't a man in the world who could've saved this season.
  3. Yeah, cause Scutaro and a cheap reliever is the distance between Boston and the pennant.
  4. Let all the suckiness come out now and not tomorrow.
  5. Wait, this isn't over. Maybe the team can comeback here to disappoint us again later this season.
  6. A career AA reliever would do a better job then this rotation.
  7. I'm not having the most fun right now.
  8. That's the Red Sox I know.
  9. Way to get out of a jam.
  10. Not the worse thing in the world. Nap is a DP threat.
  11. Who was this guy? Texas's GM? He looks 18.
  12. Sweeny got this. He is great against Feldman.
  13. Just make sure Hamilton is facing lefties and keep pitching him away. He usually swings at those and even if he doesn't a walk isn't the worse thing against him. Just don't give him anything inside!
  14. I'll rather see Mcdime pitching. he only averaged 2 runs per inning.
  15. I like how the forum understands it's frustration by now and instead of fighting among itself it's sort of forming into a mob.
  16. NESN just discovered OK computer.
  17. It's not about whether Garza is an improvement. Even with Garza do you see the Sox going to the playoffs? and if so getting past the ALDS? It's still a big no for me. And with the extra wildcard and all the contenders we will have to overpay. Right now the best thing we can do is sell a little, run out the year and wait for 2013, when the payroll drops and hopefully the roster is much healthier. I wouldn't mind trading for a starter during the offseason, but I'm not big on giving Hamels a big contract.
  18. That was Paranoid Android! I just saw it live.
  19. They aren't scapegoats. V is doing better then anyone expected, and a pitching coach can't f*** up a veteran's game in 3 months. It's not the staff's fault.
  20. Relax guys. his fip is lower then his ERA by 22 points. He is unlucky.
  21. Are they letting them pitch his way out of trouble and sacrificing the game? I wouldn't mind giving up for Lester to gain confidence but I think he is going to allow double digits by the end of the third.
  22. Game over in the first?
  23. f*** this s***. Good night.
