    Boone is taking more heavy flak for his pitching moves. Today's beef was bringing in Avilan to replace Ottavino instead of Green - who hasn't pitched since Sunday.

    Eovaldi vs. Wojo Nathan, buddy, I have been staunchly defending you against those who want you traded. You've managed to stay healthy, which is nice. But your 5.93 ERA is not going to cut it. You do have a nice SO/W ratio of 5.40, but you've been giving up a wee bit too much solid contact, to the tune of a dreadful SLG of .577. Here's hoping for a good outing tonight.

    The ironic thing in this case is that killing him would not benefit the Red Sox in any way. They'd still have to pay the money to his estate.
