  1. Yeah that's because you were wrong iortiz. You were the one making all of those ridiculous claims about Papelbon being impervious to decline/injury because he'd been "doing it a long time" and "was a relief ace". People kept asking if you had a crystal ball, and to at least acknowledge the possibility of Papelbon s***ing the bed midway through his contract, because relievers are fickle. You said no, essentially called anyone who even presented the idea an idiot. And now refuse to eat your crow. You, sir, are a legend.
  2. I'm sorry, i couldn't help myself. Took a lot of flak in GT's whenever a Sox pitcher blew a save. I'll stop now......
  3. "You all hate Papelbon" is a lame excuse. People here simply said he wasn't going to be worth his contract. Well from all indications, that seems to be the truth.
  4. So iortiz, were you wrong when you said that "Papelbon is not going to decline during his current contract because he is a relief ace"? Because he is, for all intents and purposes, declining before our very eyes. Just an honest question.
  5. Don't tell that to MJantomaso
  6. For posterity: Koji: 1.46 ERA, 0.68 WHIP, 1.5 BB/9, 12.8 K/9 Papelbon: 2.59 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 1.7 BB/9, 7.8 K/9
  7. I'm just saying. Papelbon was supposed to be "decline-proof" according to iortiz. Now that he's looking like s***, losing velocity and striking out less and less batters, we are beating a dead horse according to him, when he wouldn't shut up about it whenever a Sox pitcher blew a save. Now we "take it too seriously". LOL
  8. Koji>Papelbon. Sorry, had to do it.
  9. At least he'll have this night, in which he screwed Felix Hernandez out of a win, as a treasured memory he'll be able to hold on to forever.
  10. Steven Wright is going to wake up tomorrow morning and piss pure excellence.
  11. Ewwwww. And yeah, i probably should.
  12. Wait, did the Sox really just win this game?
  13. Heart of a champion
  14. Because Workman's stuff would better translate to a setup role than Dempster's. Do you see Dempster as having the potential to be an 8th-inning arm to help spell Tazawa? I don't.
  15. Well that's the ballgame and perhaps the end of Dempster's run as a starter this year.
  16. Some good ones in the FA market after the season. Ruiz and McCann should be prime targets for the Sox.
  17. I would expect no less from you either, you no-good miscreant. (I've been dying for a chance to use the word "miscreant", so bite me)
  18. Something tells me that's an establishment of no-good activities. Probably sexual favors trade or drugs. I would expect no less from you MVP.
  19. Nah bro i'm gon call mah posse. We'll be all up in ya business representing aaaaaight. We armed to the teeth. Midwest siiiiiide!
  20. None of y'all can f*** with me. I lived in the mean streets of Detroit (whereabouts).
  21. That may be YOTN's address. I would avoid going there.
  22. Drawn and quartered.
  23. JBay do not anger the baseball gods. VA posting the lineups is part of our mojo concoction!
