  1. But he's struck out too much and the announcers always mention that he's 21, so f*** him. Who cares that he's smacking the ball right on the nose and WMB can't hit breaking pitches and we have a guy who throws a ton of 'em tonight?
  2. Very objective analysis. Kudos sir.
  3. Spitball, i usually agree with you on your baseball ideas, but the thought of playing Napoli at 3rd is just terrible. You are both undervaluing the seriousness of his condition (we are not doctors, but still) and undervaluing the impact of a subpar glove at 3B, where one miscue could dictate the outcome of a game, specially when (not if) the smaller St. Louis hitters start bunting on him.
  4. Xander has been spraying liners all over the place with poor results. He can't sit, since he's providing some of the best AB's on this team either way. WMB would have no chance against Kelly, who throws a lot of breaking balls, he can sit. Keep Drew in the lineup today, start WMB against Lynn, who throws a lot more fastballs.
  5. We get it. Mike Carp is your new binky. (but it's a fair point)
  6. I'd agree with you if Doubront was able to consistently throw a goddamned strike.
  7. Joe Kelly's slider/curveball breaking ball combo does not bode well for a WMB start. I would keep Drew in the lineup at SS and Bogaerts at 3B. Ellsbury Victorino Pedroia Ortiz Nava Xander Drew Ross Pitcher Xander has been hitting the ball right on the nose and providing quality AB after quality AB. I would start this lineup, with Napoli at the ready to PH for Drew if a lefty so much as sniffs the BP.
  8. Station shouldn't tell anyone to stop anything as long as he has an avatar specifically tailored to bother other posters. He can go f*** himself. On topic, this argument is getting kinda silly. It really wouldn't have made much of a difference, and Nava is starting game 3.
  9. Bogaerts is hitting the ball right on the nose. A lot of his outs have been screaming liners. He needs to start.
  10. It's your turn in the mojo rotation. Put an end to this WS plz.
  11. The problem is that had Farrell gone the unconventional route and brought Koji in that situation and they tied the game or got the lead, people would be complaining. Had he used Koji and he got through the rest of the seventh/eighth unscathed, but Breslow/Taz coughed up the lead in the ninth, people would be complaining. It's a no-win situation for the manager, and it's really easy to complain if you're a couch manager. That said, he probably left Lackey one batter too many before going to Breslow.
  12. Done packing and moving boxes for the night, U-Haul?
  13. Three chances at their bullpen. We got this.
  14. Farrell looks like he has heartburn. I do not blame him.
  15. Mexican crew expects Farrell to go with Koji for two innings. I disagree, given how good Breslow has been.
