  1. Excellent review. Love Kaat tolerate Costas. Enjoyed Kaat's insight top notch.
  2. This is worst infield fielding Yankees team I can recall
  3. JBJ has certainly turned it around..
  4. I love the way Holt plays the wall! Best in a long time
  5. Your comments about Castillo are right on. I saw him play in Ft Myers and his defense (or lack of it) was surprising. Given the way Vaz and Hannigan are playing it is no wonder that DD wants Swihart to try out in left. It appears that DD wants insurance in the event that Castillo continues to disappoint.
  6. That Holt play was truly a beautiful thing to see. He was out by more than three feet.
  7. Brock Holt is the real Jason Bourne!!!
  8. Why do we continue to hope it would be anything else.
  9. And Clay Buccholtz is the Barney Fife of pitchers. They say that CB is a nice guy and AJ isn't
  10. Clay has a way to make a bad team look good.
  11. I am glad to know that we can still count on Clay to ruin a good thing.
  12. Joe West always has been one of the more controversial umpires in the game
  13. Estoy bien! Como le va
  14. Whoever is responsible whether Chili or whomever it is wonderful to watch. Some of the guys are beginning to remind me of Wade Boggs. I think one of the Sox announcers made that observation. I hope it continues when they go back to playing competitive teams. Let's face the Braves aren't very competitive.
  15. Runsey had a disastrous Spring Training. He didn't hit and played very poorly in the outfield. He certainly isn't a superlative defensive standout like either a Bradley or a Vasquez so he has to hit. No matter how plays the outfield, he isn't going to stay in the bigs until he learns to hit. I don't know why Cherrington signed him because he certainly hasn't lived up to the hype.
  16. Realistically I think Farrell would have been in a very difficult position if the Sox hadn't played Houston and Atlanta when they did. They'll probably sweep Atlanta (God willing) They should have a comfortable cushion above 500 when they play the Yankees this weekend. The Yanks aren't playing well. It appears this schedule will give Farrell a lot of breathing room.
  17. We don't agree on much but on this I concur.
  18. Travis Shaw is a monster.
  19. And this is against possibly the worst team in the majors
  20. Is there love for Farrell on any red sox fan forum.
  21. Kimbrel is a bust. How many leads has this team blown?
  22. National broadcasts always are boring. They talk too much about everything but the game on the field.
  23. Oh No He is keeping Owens in. I guess until he gets clobbered.
  24. GD ESPN! I want to watch a ball game not hear about f ing Venezuela
  25. It is obvious that Owens has a long long way to go before he is a major league ready starter, if ever.
