To tell you the trueth I dont think they will move Fenway Park at all. Last time I checked, FO plans on staying there for a very very long time. Pluse Bostonians wouldnt allow it to happen.

You know a while ago when this issue came up I was soooo against making a new ball park for the Sox. Then they started adding to Fenway and I didnt really love that either. At first I hated the fact that they put seats on the Green Monster but I have grown to like it now. Now I do think that maybe they should build a new park. I know it would be bigger so the FO would be happy about that because more people mean more money for them. I feel if they are going to do another park though that it should at least keep the Green Monster. I feel thats what seperates us from all the others.

Its always a stinker when your team loses a big game, but thats about as much as I can say to a Yankee fan. I hope the Tigers do go all the way. Besides my Red Sox I root for the Cubs then the Tigers. It actually was a pretty exciting game. I thought maybe Jeter was gonna make the big hit but it didnt happen. @jacksonianmarch You dont think Holiday is gonna kick some butt tonight? I actually think Philly will win. But hey thats just my thoughts.

What about maybe Bruce Bouchy (manager of the Giants). Rumor has it he aint to happy in Giant Land this past season. Could he be any good for an AL team, especailly for us here in the east?

Oh and by the way Wakefield SHOULD go. If he decided that he has already played his last season (2011), then I will have no problem with that. He will have gone out with respect. Im not sure what would happen if they keep him. He is not very consistent (unfortunatley). Im not sure why they have kept him in the last few years.

How the hell did the FO justify giving Lackey 82.5 million?!!!! When he was with the Angeles before we got him, was he thier ace? I remember hearing about getting him when we did and even before he showed up to Boston there was already questions concerning his pitching style at Fenway.

Oh but also getting to my real point, before he got hit Matt Clement, seemed to be on top of his game most of the time. Again correct me if Im wrong on this. I would give stats but Im not too good on those things.

I too am beyond pissed right now at how this all ended. I really got the feeling like our players didnt even play like they cared anymore. Or they just took everything for granted. Seems like no one really cares to play because they love baseball. The FO better do something about this for next season and they better find a manager that can get through to our players. One of the reasons Im really angry is because I had this vision of our players really respecting eachother in the club house and for the game in general. After all the reports about what was happening in the club house came out, there was a sense of shame for me that OUR players would act like that, especially towards the manager. But then again maybe I was too nieve to think otherwise. I guess what Im trying to say is that because of the reports bringing my thoughts to a scary reality, I have lost alot of respect this season for the "Olde Towne Team". I am a RED SOX fan and I strongly approve this thread!!!!

You know (with the exception of the teams performance in September) This could have gone alot worse for Tito. I think he held his head high until the end. But this is old news now. I find the comments very interesting about how maybe the players played so that Tito would get fired. However if that (could of) been the case. Wouldnt the players expect some backlash themselves for the way the team ended the season. I guess what I mean is they couldnt have been that stupid to kind of blow games, try to blame it all on the manager and expect to to walk away clean comming back next season, in the middle of their contracts or not? Its just a question.

You might be right about the Bobby Knight comparison. However he could be just what our club house needs in order to shape up. If players wouldn't listion to Tito (and at this point it sounded like they didn't) Maybe they would pike up and listion to someone like LaRussa who would be willing to get into players faces and mean it.

I think Bobby Valintine would make a decent fit for the club house actually.

The Globe anounced today that the Cubs asked the Red Sox permission to talk to Theo. If he does go, what about Ben Cherington, Theo's assistant GM? Anyone know anything about him?

You know once Tito left I wanted Theo's head on a stick. Now Im thinking maybe thats not the best idea right away. Main question is, who is better than Theo at his job as GM that is available now? I cant really think of anyone right off the top of my head.

I blame Crawford for not putting up the numbers he was paid to put up and Lackey..........well do I even need to say anything about him at this point? -
I wasnt sure where to ask this question but will Dice-K be a factor at all for next season? Does anyone know what the deal is with him? Honestly I almost forgot about him.

Oh and also I thought our farm system was supposed to be really really good. Did we not utilize that enough?

Not that it matters anymore (in regards to Francona) but just how much imput does a manager have in regards to what players he manages on a team? I get the feeling that Tito didnt have much say in such talks. (Im no expert thank God, Im just asking) I get the feeling Tito didnt have much choice in this team at all.

Um......am I just seeing things or is Tek the only one in MLB that has the "C" on his uniform. I havent seen it on anyother player that is a capt.
