    Oh look....two fielders manage not to KLANG off each other to make a play and end this utter travesty of a baseball game.

    He could have helped call off O'Neill. Duran had a good view of whether Rafi could make the play or not and if O'Neill was just going to get in the way. What....you have never seen a fielder do that before?

    Oh now I see why Hamilton is here....its his sub 200 BA with a sub 600 OPS

    Nobody was calling for the ball that I could see and Duran was just standing there not offering any assistance to either O'Neill or Devers. That is sort of silly for a ML team. Duran for one is a JACKASS, a day in day out JACKASS.

    Whenever Hamilton comes into the game at any position, especially SS the whole thing falls apart. I suspect if they made him the ball boy down one of the foul lines, the Red Sox defense would fall apart.

    I would not have expected Casas to make a clean play on that ball. Too much to expect of him and I would not have expected a better throw from Abreu. But the Hamilton KLANG was just too much. Bad throw YES....but Hamilton should have been able to catch that ball.

    Butcher Hamilton strikes again......klang. There has to be somebody somewhere in the Red Sox organization that is a better fielder than Hamilton. Please god get him out of here.

    Oh for crying out loud Red Sox. You are already pretty silly this year. No need to knock yourselves silly. Rafi sort of looks OK....dazed for sure. O'Neill is cut on the head. Not sure I would let Rafi hit against ML pitching again today looking like he does. O'Neill is down in the clubhouse as it is.

    That is about as good as this team can play I think. Good win.

    Oh and you think this year's sox team features good hitting? They could not hit a barn door with a base fiddle. Their most consistent asset this year is their pitching and that SUCKS, most particularly their bullpen which will soon enough turn to dust.

    Well fielding stat computer analysis has never been at all as accurate as hitting stat computer analysis has been. You know....the NERD stuff. Not convinced that without their computers to help them they care about fielding. People tend to downplay the importance of what they don't understand.

    Notice Duran just flat stopped running as soon as he saw that a play had been made on Reyes ground ball. I mean there could have been an errant throw....the fielder could have dropped the ball on the transfer.

    I hate to say it ,,,,but O'Neills smash to 3rd would have likely hit Rafi right in the nuts.

    So I take it we have nobody down there in the Bush Leagues that can field better than these guys. That might be scarier than what we are seeing now.

    Did you see that camera shot of the Sox bench at the end? O'neill looked like "why am I not playing for Baltimore" The rest of them just looked done.

    Oh and for the record, you don't have to be Baltimore to expose this pitching staff.

    Maybe they should send this whole crew to Pawtucket and bring Pawtucket up here. Could it be worse?
