I really hope Iggy is not boosted from the lineup due to an injury. He deserves a real shot..he does not deserve more than that but he deserves that and the Sox deserve a shot to make a decision on him based on seeing him as complete a ballplayer as he can be. He is an incredible defensive SS and his run prevention capabilities cannot be questioned.

Eckersly saying that maybe the size of the crowd contributed to the ball jumping off the bat to CF. What are ya' thinkin' Eck...they all blow hard at the same time???? Also, Remy and Orsillo commented that the Jays deny stealing signs but Farrell had them using multiple signs with no runners on!!!!

Hanrahan's FB seems live tonight right from jump street. Was quick in NY but started out with little movement and then ended up live after four or five pitches...maybe needed time to get warm in that cold. Very lively tonight.

Sisters of the Poor beat the Yankees. Detroit gets to play the Twins and then goes to play the Bronx Zoo. Who fixed this schedule for them.

Hey give him a break out there. The guy is taking his life in his hands putting his face down there in front of ground balls. Any one of them might just miss his glove completely and hit him right in the chops.

That is too funny....I actually am starting to feel bad for the guy but his errors at 2nd just look like big flopping turds, not just little mistakes.

Great shot WMB....I am less and less a fan of this ballpark though. Don't like the surface...don't like the ball carrying the way it does....even line drives seem to be strange shots here. Give me Fenway any day.

I always love the way Salty's bat looks like some monster 2 x 4 going through the strike zone. You can almost see it as slow motion...the bat going about 1 foot past anywhere the ball might possibly have been.

I should have added that nobody and nothing could have been worse than Crawford. So from that perspective....bring on Reyes please!!!!

Hard to tell...Reyes could have had a hard time in Boston. I could be wrong on this but I think the media was reporting that our FO thought Reyes was poison to that deal and wanted Johnson but wanted no part of a package that had Reyes. Another ball goes screeching out to Center. I still wonder if the air conditioning here is measured in mph instead of power output.:D

That is one of his bad habits. At least this year I have seen him apparently catch himself and stop. Though it is early. Who knows whether he will fall all the way back or improve. I can remember whole games previously where he never stopped....drove me absolutely ape and honestly still does.

Early I know but I really think Farrell likes this one inning max per guy thing with his relievers...Never mind the guy is going great....he's commin' out. Totally blew me away when he let Mortensen have two the other night but I think it is because Mortenson is slated as one of his long relief guys.

That extension started a succession of bad FA moves, signings and what have you that are almost epic bad from a historical perspective. In his later years Theo is probably going to claim that 2010 and 2011 have slipped from his memory banks.

Naaaaah,,, I want fat slob, overpaid ******* Beckett telling me how much more important his family is than baseball and AGons telling me the travel schedule is killing him...and the left field wall made him do it...no the shoulder made him do it....no God made him do it! Those guys were much more fun than these guys.
