  1. OK so digitally record it for posterity.....its baseball...we talk about tape in baseball. You record movies....you tape baseball regardless of the media.
  2. Too much...yanks totally self destructing with Jaba on the mound and an empty Yankee stadium. Somebody tape this...we may need it later for a pick me up.
  3. I can't even look at Chamberlain without laughing my ass off
  4. The new Salty fields his position like the old Salty. So I would not get too excited just yet.
  5. Joba looks like he is ready for the Saturday beer league....softball.....slow pitch
  6. Now there is a picture for ya'. Empty seats behind home plate...disloyal yank fans headed to the exits....poor babies. f*** um'
  7. Nice play by Taz. Throwing to second off the mound is harder than it looks. Gotta get low so that your foot fall does not throw you off. Nice job Taz.
  8. Yea but he looks big and studly as a closer. Bailey looks more like a "little ball of pudge" for a closer.
  9. To be honest, I would not have given Gomes much of a chance in RF either.
  10. You absolutely had to know he was going to drop the sinker/slider on Napoli there. I could not get these old keyboard fingers working fast enough.
  11. I worry when I see Bailey fist pumping....a separated shoulder waiting to happen.
  12. Miller is bit of a head case. How do we end up with so many of these guys? Ace, Bard, Miller......
  13. Nunez at the plate for defensive purposes.:D
  14. Cervelli starts the inning for the Yanks....life is good.
  15. The irony of baseball is one of the things that keeps us coming back. Last year when that kind of hit was the only kind of hit Iggy could have got, he could not buy one. This year he is swinging the bat better and eking out leg hits. Go figure....thats baseball.
  16. I would not call that a great outing against this Yanks line up. Was not that bad though. Lester always seems so fragile on the mound. I really wanted Salty to go out to the mound or Nieves to go out there before he did. Clearly Lester knew he was up in the zone and started aiming the ball as an overreaction. That is just a mistake and not the way to pitch out of that sort of situation. Go out there and get him back on track, settle him down...something. All it needed to be 4-4 was for Nix not to have let that meatball go by. Lester has always been fragile on the mound.....so it is not like all involved...Salty...Nieves should not know this.
  17. Pretty much to plan so far. Would have loved to see Lester able to go seven but can't expect much first start of the year. Only guy that I would not be surprised at going deep innings would be Detroit's new multi-multi millionaire.
  18. Well ya' if you prefer base hits to weakly hit grounders.
  19. Now that was NOT a good 0-0 pitch to swing at.
  20. That was a nice pitch to Wells. Wells was tied up thinking it was headed outside. Took courage from Lester. Not sure what the hell Barrett will call a strike on the outer third. Salty should step out of they way on one of these and let it hit Barrett right in the nuts....ask him if that was a strike!
  21. Oh my God...Youk clearly aging...he will not want to see film of flying out on that pitch
  22. Lester can't survive pitching this way.....AAAA Yanks helping him out
  23. f***ing Barrett...I hate that guy
  24. CC can't find the plate against the kid....maybe he's too short!
  25. That was nice piece of hitting by Salty. CC is tough even from the right side once he starts cruising.
