    I honestly think the Jays are waiting for the hammer to drop on them and are just going through the motions. Never seen a team so completely uninvolved and unengaged as that team was when we were up there last. At that point, Joey Bats was about to come back and Reyes was still playing and basically carrying the rest of that rotting carcass on his back.

    Well the Stro's sure as hell won't be tired. They haven't done anything for four days.

    Remy is such a fan. Complaining that the Ortiz shot would have been off the wall later in the summer. Meanwhile Carp's shot carried like crazy and the flag is straight out and stiff toward left field.

    Farrell serving coffee between innings to stave off Houston'e evil plot to lull the Sox to sleep. Coffee kicks in....Houston doomed.

    Glad Drew's was a meaningful hit. He has been putting up nothing for so long that has got to help him feel better about things.

    Might have been a run saved is WMB could have made that tag. Looked like the run coming home was nip and tuck beating the out at 3rd if the tag was there.

    Lackey's arm angle kinda' erratic right now. WMB looked a little out of position on that throw into 3rd. Must have gotten back to the bag a little late and was just not exactly where he wanted to be.

    They have to find a way to work around Taz and Ueh today. They need today and the off day before facing the Jays. That could make it interesting cause I don't expect we will see many innings out of Lackey. Still I would like to see Farrell resist the temptation to go to Taz and Ueh. Thank God for the outstanding starts from Lester and Buch cause I am not sure where this pen would be right now without the starts they have had.

    Last game with these bums from Houston. Wonder if the Sox will let Vic play on that carpet in Toronto. Guess it will depend on how good the back feels.
