  1. Thought WMB was going to run all the way over to 3rd to throw that back to 1xt base.
  2. That horse-faced beast is Teixeira having walked into that hole and unable to figure out how to turn around and walk back out again. He is left standing there forlornly peering out..hoping that he does not take a line drive off his stupid lunk-head. I realize that references to Teixeira are insults to that horse and to horses generally. Unfortunately for the horse, this is serious business and as Alex Karras said in Blazing Saddles, "Mongo only pawn in game of life". Teixeira is an adequate representative and stand in for any opponent. Tonight he gets to represent these f***ing O's and will hopefully infect the Os with his horse-faced, lunkheaded-ness forcing all kinds of errors in the field, at the plate and from the mound.....Result.... a Sox win which has usually been the case when sewer horse makes an appearance.
  3. Good to see sewer horse back peering up out of his hole in the ground
  4. More concerned about not having to face Detroit in the 1st round than anything else. Catching the Tigers in the first round is going to be a sucky break for somebody. In fact it would suck for baseball to have Detroit and Boston meet in the division round. Would rather those two teams face each other in a seven game series if anywhere. Myself I am not as much concerned with where the games are played as avoiding Detroit in a five game series. In fact, Detroit might be a better Fenway team than the Red Sox. Conversely, the Sox could well be a better Comerica Park club than Detroit.
  5. Ortiz really does have to learn to control his emotions better. Ever since that stretch where he appeared insistent that he was going to end that little mini-slump he was on with some gargantuan blast over the RF fence, whenever he gets into one of his moods its like he has got to hit some monster blast in order to be satisfied that he has gotten his way. He is such a great hitter that often all he has to do is make contact and take the ball back the way it came and its money....especially with the bases loaded. But no.... I wish he would just think for a second...you don't get that many opportunities during the course of a game...give me two runs and the rally is still going over some gargantuan tape measure shot any day.
  6. As much as the bitch hit off Bres was not deserved, that bitch, seeing eye hit was deserved. That was a horrible pitch and a horrible choice of pitches. You have to be really sure of what you are doing to go curve ball there. If you hang it, chances are Davis is going to go yard. Even without going yard, with two outs and everybody running, all it took was a seeing eye single to score two. That was no place for Frankie and Salty to get cute. Should have tried to get Davis to chase a FB. That was just too easy.
  7. That pitch sucked
  8. It has gotten to the point where if Frankie gives up a hit the wild pitch is almost obligatory now.
  9. Nathan is such a panic. Back to the action.....is there another pitcher we have that can get into trouble faster than Frankie. Bing-Bang-Bong...holy s***
  10. and......its famine
  11. This ******** again...did the same thing with Carp tonight...living low and outside...But another error hopefully foils the O's. That is a base hit...you gotta' be kidding me!!!! Well here comes another one of our feast or famine guys...Mr. Drew
  12. Valencia is just airing out stuff inside lately. What the f*** got into him?
  13. God damned Orioles...only team in weeks...maybe months that has controlled the Sox hitters with their middle relief guys.
  14. Sox hitters apparently have not read the script for tonight.
  15. Taz Taz Taz...really worries me. FB is doing nothing.
  16. Now that is the kind of bitch hit that pisses me off. Most bitch hits start with a lousy pitch from the pitcher that turns into a bitch hit cause the hitter just did not get all of it or even most of it. That was a really good pitch from Bres...just pounded straight down and ultimately through the infield like it had eyes.
  17. Peavy is tough as nails. In fact most of the time on the mound he looks like he is chewing on nails.
  18. I am not listening on radio but last I heard Lou Merloni was supposed to be in the radio booth with Joe tonight.
  19. Holy s***.... Did Sloba gain weight overnight? He looks bigger today than he looked yesterday.
  20. f***ing ESPN....I wish they had showed us what Naps was doing to get thrown out. All to often now, some of the super sensitive umps will toss a guy for what he is saying walking away and not even facing in the same direction as the ump. That is just wrong. I have seen it before. Naps was so far away from the ump when he was getting tossed I have to think that either Naps was walking backwards jawing or this was yet another instance of a player being tossed walking away from an ump.
  21. Kruk missed a game recently, taken out of the stadium by ambulance I believe. The way his fellow announcers were discussing his absence, the general gist at least to me appeared to be that he either ate himself into a state of delirium or drank himself into a stupor. Whatever he did, it sounded like major organs finally threw up the white flag crying for help.
  22. Pedey plays every day against everybody. Nava does not. If he did, the top line numbers would not be close. You need to look past the top line numbers to see what both players are really doing but he is used in a way does not often expose his weaknesses. Nava is having a wonderful year and I love the guy. But he does not deserve to get consideration as Pedey's equal at the plate.
  23. Buch seems less comfortable tonight than he was in his first outing back. Not sure what is behind that. Maybe just part of coming back. Can never tell with Mr. "I know my body better than anybody else".
  24. Kruk ia too much. Yea A-roid is sore from carting money down to the back Kruky. Don't you just love the way Cano gets down that 1st base line? Any slower and he could be finishing the play AND heading back to the visitor's dugout at the same time!
  25. At least they didn't overdo it.....an old seat, an old piece of scoreboard, some artwork that I think my preteen daughter could have produced.....meh... I did not see the last "gift". I think the neatest thing Mariano got that I heard about was the rocking chair made of broken bats. That was a thoughtful gift.
