How bout' them short porches and low walls to Left and Right in Yankee Stadium. If you don't hustle in Fenway Park, you are struggling to turn that into a double. Way to go Rafi. Obviously Grey was not watching CC last night.

Well the pitch that has made the biggest dif for Erod this year is the Change. If he can't throw it or won't throw it he becomes 2016, 2017, 2015 20whatever E-rod. He never could overpower anybody and only becomes a "pitcher" when he has an effective Change to work in regularly.
Could not post it fast enough but did not like infield in there. 0-0 in the 2nd inning. Yea I know there are no outs but that is what favors not bringing the infield in this early in a 0-0 game.
This is a really good way for the Sox to move on to NY. They will see better pitching from NY. The only guy the Angels threw out there that could pitch at all, the Manager pulled! Atta boy Mike.
In fact that was another slide that looked like a broken hand, wrist, broken arm, separated shoulder...just every darned thing was possible on that one, ala' XB.
Well I would not give up on us just yet. This guy is not God pitching. If he starts to get a bit more of the middle of the plate, he is probably dead. If not....not so much.
Well I said at the start of the game that of the three starting pitchers the A's tossed out there, this would be the guy that would not at least immediately pitch himself out of the game. Lamb for example had no chance. You simply cannot pitch the way he pitches as a LHer in this ballpark. Just go out to the mound and commit suicide. This guy was going to give the Angels the best chance of the three if he could keep his pitches off the barrel of the bat and he has done exactly that so far.
Boy if I really cared about the Angels I would really start questioning where the heck they think they are going. All these years with Trout...can't pitch their way out of a paper bag and poor Mike Scoschia always looking like there is a rain cloud following him around.
