RH pitchers spend their JD AB's on the outer black and JD generally hits that stuff. If he didn't, he would not be a great opposite field hitter. Either they wake up or they don't. They have not been awake yet this whole game. Leaving runners all over the place and about as focused as my dog who often makes me wonder if he is asleep or dead!

I know Sale is a great pitcher. But why we seem to just throw our gloves out on the diamond when he pitches is beyond me. Berrios who walks nobody walks Betts to start the game and we promptly do nothing with it. Sandy tries to bunt his first time up just as another example.

Well score more runs Red Sox. No excuse not to be doing more with this guy. He is not exactly throwing lightning bolts. He is pitching a good game. But we are a bit careless at the plate tonight.

Stepped away for a second. Upon return Beni up, one on, one out had to guess who was the on and who was the out. That was not even hard unfortunately.

That was pretty pitiful. Nunny has got to think about what he is doing there. Devers is the kid. Nunny is the vet though you could hardly tell the dif in that sequence.

Great opportunity for a road sweep coming up in Minnesota. Our rotation set up to succeed in the three games in Minnesota. We face three straight ho-hum RH pitchers which gives our hitters the best chance to succeed. Gibson might be the toughest of the three if his sinker is working. Even with that....we have a real shot at winning three straight in Minnesota.

Moose drew short money in KC on a one year deal. But they want young talent. If nobody is interested in a 3rd baseman at the deadline, maybe they would take just about anything for him. But with his bat and ability to play 1st as well, I have got to believe somebody will be able to make KC a better offer than we can.
