I think he is trying to nibble because he just does not have the stuff to throw it over the plate. He is not a peck and poke kind of pitcher though. So I am not confident this will work for long.
Pom pitching from the stretch that way is very discouraging. It looks like he thinks he is going to start throwing 86 mph FB's and is just flinging his body at home plate.
Geez Remy battling Cancer again. These last few bouts have got to be rough on him. Somebody can correct me if I am wrong. But I think his first battle was followed by a decent period of remission. Now it seems he has been back in this fight on a much more regular basis.
MFY's are going to limp into the end of the season. They are too young. There is something to be said for having at least enough experience around to matter. The Yankee team has completely fallen apart since the injuries to Judge and Sanchez and there are only two reasons for that sort of collapse:
- a team that is too young
- a manager that has no earthly idea how to keep his team together under the rigors of the 162
Now even pulling it together for season end is questionable if only because its not only us that know Boone is an idiot. His team knows he is an idiot. I don't buy the idea that once the Yankee team gets to the post season it will be fine. If they fail like this under the fire of the 162, does it make any rational sense to expect they won't fail in the post season as well? Too many young guys in too many key spots and a manager that is so clueless that he is only spared from the bottom of the division's managers by the ever awful Gibby.
Surprised that location has got you nailed for EEI radio broadcast. That must mean there is an ESPN radio broadcast that is covering your neck of the woods. That would be my recommendation because the three blind mice are just unbearable.
Gibby is the only thing keeping Boone from worst manager in the division. AL East Managers get one heck of a break cause they can always look down and find Gibby at the bottom.
Honestly, even with the radio broadcast being out of sync with the Video feed, it is worth it not to have to listen to the three blind mice in the ESPN booth. I literally don't care about being out of sync. They are that bad in that ESPN booth.
Don't know when Judge and Sanchez come back but this Yankee team is too young as it is. Take that much muscle out of their lineup and they are going nowhere. Look how they have responded to the injuries...NOTHING.
Yankee fans like to talk about how young they are ...how young they are. Might be an advantage some year...but not this year. They are simply too young.
