Cora definitely waited too long on Valazquez. But he just does not really know who to go to that he has confidence in which is what creates these situations.

Mookie's was that sort of HR. A nothing FB going nowhere...poorly located...right in Mookie's wheelhouse. We need this complete inning at least out of Valazquez

Richards for his part has no kinda' FB and if you know its coming, if he doesn't locate it....See ya'!!!!!

Valazquez is about the only guy they have with a proven resilient arm. But that is basically all he has going for him. Once they get Valazquez out of there (probably next inning) this could get interesting.

Marlin players are probably too used to Mattingly dunce capping through games. "oh why does it matter if I think I was safe or not. Somebody would have to wake Don up."

And we complain about Cora asleep in the dugout. Mattingly should not be managing anywhere EVER! He is still in the dugout with that befuddled look on his face.

Well at least we saw Mookie take the ball where it was pitched and hit it hard. Has not been doing that lately. Beni still looks ridiculous with that big long swing. Change ups eating him alive.

Kimbrel is getting on my nerves. In a big spot he just pumps that FB right down main st and its not been getting by hitters for a month now.

One of the best things about Koji is that he came in and threw different stuff. These guys are all carbon copies. 95+ heat and a secondary and thats it for all of them.

We still have the same problem we had before the last few innings of this game. The only thing that saves this pen is our rotation. The best way to handle this pen is to leave them out there throwing sunflower seeds at each other.

I thought the stretch where the booth was naming Mattingly Mr Integrity for hammering one of his pitchers for plunking somebody was rich.
