That was a terrific effort by JBJ. That attempt was better than most catches. Did everything he could do to get to that. God I hate this ....this.....ballpark. It is so bad for the players.
Rest is the most logical option. I would want JD less on that turf than Mookie though they might split the time there. Not good for either of them really.
Actually we might not see a behind the plate road s*** show better than that kid in Houston trying to do the Kimbrel in an Astros jersey. In truth, the kid looked like an Astro's jersey hung on a cloths hanger.
And that is exactly what I mean though that was a breaking pitch. He is just not getting the barrel onto those and pitches in that location are a Mookie specialty.
He is not swinging a quick bat right now and he has not been for awhile. Not really getting to inside heat like we are used to seeing and too quick to the benders. He is not in a good spot at the moment. Somehow Cora has got to get him more rest I think. I don't think this is just a funk.

I am supposed to care about that? You appear to know more about me than you could guess from a forum. You have no idea how old I am or how long I have been a Sox fan and neither my term or yours as a Sox fan are in any way meaningful.
Ah yes lets have an effort at shaming to go along with trying to define fandom for other fans. Why am I not surprised.
I have an idea for you. This is an open forum that flies under the banner-head "Talk Sox". Why don't you start a forum called Root for Sox or Cheer for Sox or Sox Fanboys because you clearly don't want to talk about the Sox. See how many forum members you draw to the rather drool exercising of circle jerking yourselves to death every night because by definition there will be no discussion of the Sox no "talking" about the Sox allowed on your forum.
Not sure anybody is not enjoying the ride. However how that enjoyment takes shape is up to each individual fan. I will make a similar comment here that I made to another poster the other night. It is beyond rude to define fandom and the shape it takes for anybody but yourself. What we take from our fandom is what we take each to our own. I know fans that make a night at Fenway the equivalent of a night at the opera with little concern for which team wins the actual game they are attending. It is up to each and every one of us to define fandom for ourselves and for nobody else.
