Since the 2nd inning he is averaging about 12 pitches per inning. I have little faith this offense can do anything right now. We might have been lucky to get the run that we did.

Jackie and Xander both gone..... Is there anything that will light a spark under these guys??? We have managed 3 hits this game and that's it. 3 runs in 14 innings.

I still feel this is best for Price though. Maybe this is what he needs is a couple or three good innings in the playoffs to give him some confidence when he has a starting game next time come playoffs. He has looked fantastic today. Good sign moving forward.

This offense is sickening...... Complete no show this series. I thought there would be at least somewhat of an effort. 13 innings and 2 runs lmao.

I am sure Price is feeling the same. The man is a competitor and I am sure he wants to start a game. They are probably slowing bringing him back but the way he looked there we sure could have used that this game.

Extremely. The man has been outstanding in the bullpen. Love what I am seeing from him especially in the playoffs. Hope it gives him some confidence going forward when he starts in a playoff game.

If we can't pull this off stick a fork in us. Poms was the one pitcher on this rotation I trusted to win us a game and he completely blew it...... Our 2 best pitchers get absolutely destroyed. So pissed I can't even focus at work now.

Could be just a superstition of mine but I hope they stay with the grey jerseys rather than the alt jerseys. I don't want any jinxes today...... Although didn't seem to matter yesterday lol.

Young had a pretty good outing last time he played against Houston. I can't remember the exact numbers but he was hitting and started 2 for 2 if I remember correctly. Sitting Devers is insane to me but it is what it is. Farrel has proved time and time again that he is a total moron. Obviously is trying to change things up because the offense stinks but sitting one of our best players is not the thing to do.

This. That is really the only chance we have to win against these guys.... We won't win an offensive powerhouse competition as we found out last night. Poms needs at least 6 strong (pretty much shut down) innings for us to have a chance today.

Basically everything about yesterday sucked and made me feel sick. Sale obviously was garbage, and even though we had a few hits and Hanley looked pretty good last night the offense couldn't get runs on the board. I figured all along even with Sale pitching we would need likely 4 runs or more to win. We are playing one of the best offensive teams in the league. We won't shut them down to a run or 2. If we do great, but we should be going out there playing like our life is on the line. Even had Sale pitched a decent game I doubt we would have won. Poms will have to be magnificent today there is no other way around it. And we have to generate some runs for god sakes. 1 or 2 runs won't do it against Houston it's as simple as that.

This! It's happened two years in a row for us web Price and Sale. It's absolutely unacceptable. Yes you need them to be good in regular season to help you get to the playoffs but it's all for not if they stink it up come playoff time. It's crap.
