    Might take him a while to get back into the swing of things from missing time. But we won that is all that matters. But definitely don’t feel as confident with him pitching as last year. Hopefully as he pitches more he will get better.

    Much needed win. Didn’t get to see the game as I was working. But the Yankees being right on our ass we need to pull out as many wins as possible especially against teams like this. Stat wise it looks like Poms has another rough day How did he look?

    Still in this damn rut since the no hitter. I know Tampa is playing extremely well lately but we are killing our selves. Porcello is looking like hammered s*** today and offensively struggling again. Night and day to how this team looked a week ago. At this rate Yankees and Rays are going to challenge for the division.

    Was watching the bruins game. Glad to see the Sox win. Maybe this is the confidence they need after that ugly no hitter.

    This. We had to lose a game eventually. Honestly never thought it would be a no hitter but it is what it is. Still had good pitching today. Oakland just had better pitching. Still the best record in MLB.

    On paper we should smoke these guys but they have won 4 straight and are one of those teams that win strange games against good opponents. Might be a tough game. Regardless I predict a 6-2 Red Sox win.

    Before this series I was not thinking a sweep by any means. And then we come in and absolutely dominate LA. This team is doing some amazing things this year. First time in 30 years I believe to start 16-2. Is this real??

    Agreed, the rotation as a group has been extremely solid. Going off what Poms did last year, he was extremely consistent and become a solid 2 pitcher while Price was injured and Porcello was having an off year. I can only assume when he is healthy he will make this rotation solid. But it's good to know we have some serious backup if he isn't what he was last year.
