    Only from last year they will give him a couple more starts. It’s a shame seeing what has happened to him from last year though I wish he would return to his old self. But man has he ever been ugly this season.

    I more think Johnson can be starting calibre if he gets enough work in. He looked pretty strong against the Jays. And hopefully Wright can return soon. Poms even if healthy, I am not too confident playing him against a team like the Yankees or Astros in the playoffs. He has looked nothing like the 2017 Poms, but I guess time will tell.

    This. If you came and told me the Sox would put up 7 runs with Porcello pitching I would have bet my life savings on this game. Porcello had a very rare off night tonight and it was just one of those games. The streak couldn’t go forever unfortunately.

    Yup that's true, some fans go too much the other way. I also notice that when JBJ has one good game some people make out like he should be MVP. But I can't talk as I am a huge Price fan and he could have 4 horrible games in a row and then 1 decent game like last night and I'm all excited for him lol. I try not to say much with price now lmao.

    A lot of fans have a bad habit of not giving a player their due when they play well. Happens with fans from all teams, not just the Red Sox so it's not a shot at our fan base. When JBJ is struggling its, "He sucks lets trade him now." When he plays good I see a lot of "How long will this last before he sucks again." It's the exact same thing with Price although a tad more warranted as he has one of the biggest contracts in professional sports.

    It's fun to imagine what our rotation would like if Scherzer was pitching for us. I always enjoy watching him play. Guy is a gem and always consistent. Even a bad game for him is still getting through 6 innings, and giving up no more than 4 runs. Gives Washington a chance to win every single time he plays. With that said Price looked pretty damn decent last night. Lets hope that continues.
