  1. I noticed. Still close game though.
  2. Kluber is playing tonight against the Yankees and he has been nothing short of fantastic this year so Cleveland has a good chance of winning tonight assuming their bats play half decent.
  3. With his contract and how well he played in the playoffs last season he will start no matter what. His ERA until the last 2 games was pretty decent actually. Since coming back from his carpal tunnel he was playing lights out, especially that Mariners and Angels game..... Unfortunately his last 2 starts have been dreadful to put it lightly. Hoping he gets back on his game tonight and builds some confidence going into the second half of the season.
  4. the man is a straight killer!!!!!! Unreal season he is having again!
  5. Couldn’t have said it better to myself. These are still professional athletes who on any given day can beat any team. 8 straight is no easy task in any league. Yes the playoffs still scare me and yes the Yankees still scare me. We still need a 5th man in this rotation but otherwise we have a solid team and can beat anyone with this offense and pitching. All we need to focus on is winning this division and see what happens. Seattle (or if Oakland) making the playoffs may take out the Yankees in the Wild Card game. We can only win the games we are given and so far the Sox are crushing it and producing some fun baseball to watch.
  6. 7 in a row. I’m loving this team!!!
  7. Just tuning in. Man E-Rod has been unreal lately.
  8. That’s how you take a lead!
  9. I was just thinking this actually and I think it's a very good idea. Sale is not a big man and last year he seemed to fizzle out a bit especially going into the playoffs. I would like to give him as much rest as possible to keep him fresh!
  10. Completely agreed. Until Wright got hurt he was unbelievable with his knuckleball. However not much Cora can do if Wright and the doctors say he is good to go. Sometimes you just have to put the man out there and see what he can do. But if he pitches the way he did before that Seattle game he will be a force in the playoffs against any team.
  11. Agreed with this. I haven't complained too much about the Sox in recent years. Seeing them win 3 World Series and I am only 30 years old is a pretty amazing thing. I think the Sox fans can be a tad dramatic and spoiled at times. Making playoffs isn't good enough unless we win the World Series. People forget how hard it actually is to make it to the World Series let alone win it. I consider myself pretty lucky as I live in Canada and all my friends are Jays fans. Poor buggers
  12. When E Rod is in his groove I could watch him throw change ups all day long!
  13. I tend to agree with that. Although Porcello with the year he had two years ago and this year it’s a toss up. However it’s a problem I love to have. Great pitching.
  14. Pitching battle going on today. E Rod brought his A game.
  15. Happy 4th of July from your Canadian friend Get this win boys!
  16. Amen to this!! Porcello is having himself a year! Damn happy with this rotation..... Outside of Price and E-Rod's last start this rotation has been solid!
  17. Change the batting order tomorrow. Put Porcello in. Man hit tonight! Lol
  18. Not the prettiest win but it’s a win.
  19. Was our secret weapon at one point. Now I don’t know what to trust out of this guy. Man is he inconsistent.
