Porcello dominating tonight.

Depends which Porcello shows up. He has been very solid this year but still a bit too inconsistent for my likings. Pitched well against Washington, Kansas City and Baltimore but s*** the bed horribly against the Jays and Twins. We need good Rick tonight as I doubt our offense will have the same day as they did yesterday.

The man has been incredible. ERA of 1.85 and loses half his starts. I feel bad for the guy.

Philly is still a good hitting team that can score runs in a lot of chunks. He doesn’t look too confident out there I will say that but we still have a chance to win this. Regardless I am not saying I feel confident especially starting him in the playoffs but considering most of his games he doesn’t get out of the second inning I thought he looked a bit better today is all.

I also don’t have much confidence in him but I thought he looked better than recent games. Im not one to keep proving my point as it seems I’m the only one that thinks so. So I’ll jusr say I’m wrong lol

Two pitches in the second inning were balls that I remember just under the waste line. Unless I missed something I didn’t understand the calls at all

I didn’t say he’s been great. Just said he isn’t bad tonight. There’s also been some questionable calls on balls in my opinion

Compared to what he has thrown in the past we still have a f***ing chance. I thought if our offense came out dead like this it would be a blow out but we are only down two. He hasn’t been great but score wise it’s 2-0. The offense is what’s f***ing us over right now plain and simple.

Ugh doesn’t get any closer than that. Poms isn’t pitching bad. Our offense needs to get it together. Also looked like he maybe touched his pant leg there ?

Agreed with this however we have been inconsistent offensively ever since the break. Once the offense starts rolling again we will be fine. But yes it’s always a concern when your ace puts up 6 scoreless innings and we still almost blow it.
