What scares me most is Sale's control is wildly inconsistent and I agree this has nothing to do with the catcher. Sale's velocity seemed to improve in his 3rd start as he had a 95 m fastball..... Yet he still got lit up. Guess we will see what happens tonight.

Agreed completely. If we were battling for top spot or just a couple games behind I doubt this move happens..... But unfortunately when you win the World Series and have basically the same team the next season and have the 5th worst record in the league through the first 3 weeks (granted it's early) it still warrants some changes. I like Swi I really do but I am not overly surprised as some to see this.

Agreed.... When the team is struggling like this especially the starting rotation, I guess moves like this shouldn't surprise us. I still feel bad for the guy.

My bad lol! I didn’t see when the thread was created. I agree if the season goes the way it does it could get ugly for Cora fast. Being 6.5 games behind the division leader is not pretty and in my opinion Tampa is not going to slow down. They have looked really good....: too good to be pretenders. Then again..... Seattle has cooled off big time. It’s just too early still to tell what will happen. Everyone outside of Tampa is within a game of each other. This series with the Yankees and Rays will really tell us what this team is made of.

Agreed completely. They have had time to get their s*** together. By the time our series with the Yankees and Rays is over we will be 22 games into the season. If we haven’t figured it out by then...... you honestly can’t convince me that we still need time lol.

I will watch hockey any day of the week over basketball. I like basketball too but I just find hockey much more entertaining. And it’s not even close with me. NBA has grown stale. Seeing Golden State hit 3s and nothing but. And constantly go to the finals and win has grown tiredsome for me. Hockey is still anyone’s game and it’s always entertaining. The number one seed is on the verge of being swept. And the Bruins Leafs Series has been physical and awesome. At the end of the day it’s al opinion though.
