  1. Valid point. I still hope Sale returns to form.... His lack of strikeouts and his starts against Seattle and a horrific Jays offense is concerning to me. Bad luck or not. Giving up 7 hits to a team ranked 28th in offense doesn't look pretty for a Sale like pitcher.
  2. Maybe he lit a spark under them. Hopefully Cora can do the same with our guys.
  3. I still think we have the talent to win this. But I’m definitely worried about Sale. I’m chalking it up to just a couple early bad starts but it’s concerning.
  4. For Sale it’s lit up. 6 hits against this garbage s*** team who is among the worst offenses in the league is crap. His start against Seattle is much worse but this is brutal. For Sales standards. Maybe if this was Clay Bucholtz I would cut some slack.
  5. We are in a lot of trouble early. About to be 3-9 and 5 games under the division leader with zero signs of showing we can climb out of This hole. Our win against Oakland was 1-0. Nothing overly to brag about. With this rotation keeping this up we are hot garbage.
  6. Don’t have to convince me twice. I’m with you. At what point do they say screw it just go out and pitch?? He’s been dreadful. Clearly “saving” his arm isn’t working. He’s getting lit up as bad as he did in Seattle. If his normal fastball doesn’t return I totally agree. Something is up.
  7. Giving up the amount of hits and runs he has in 4 innings against this dreadful Jays team is an abomination regardless of strike outs. Whether it’s the contract or not. 2 of his first 3 starts have been a total s*** show. He needs to figure this out. I get saving his arm but if he’s gonna perform like this every day. Maybe let him throw a few solis fast balls.
  8. The entire team just seems a mess.
  9. Another hit...
  10. Agreed..... And if you think about it.... It's a lot of pressure to perform under. Getting that kind of money you know you basically have to replicate your numbers or close too from the season before. Unfortunately this happens to a lot of pitchers, QB's, goaltenders etc.... A bit different with Porcello but he won the CY young and has never been able to come close to that season ever since..... (probably why he HASN'T been offered an extension yet"
  11. Unfortunately, big contract signings are usually a curse. I hope this isn't the case as Sale was very good in his second start and looks like he was rock solid in innings 1 and 2. Hopefully the 3rd inning was just..... bad luck or something.
  12. I'm just sad I am missing the game. So badly wanted to watch Pedroia's return
  13. With that said. At least Sale made it out of the inning with too much horrible damage. Offense time!
  14. Also our pitchers are garbage which doesn’t help. Not saying Sale has been horrible but against the Jays offense. Giving up this many hits and 2 runs and not even out of the 3rd inning is ugly.
  15. Guess I jinxed it. Jesus Christ sale.
  16. I like the sounds of that!! Could be our only good starter this year if Price, Porcello, E Rod and Eovaldi keep sucking.
  17. Damn. That’s good news!!!
  18. How’s Sales fastball looking? Anyone. ?
  19. Looks like Sale pitching damn good again.
  20. The way I like it. Focused!!
  21. Keys to success Sale pitches good and keeps the game scoreless Get at least 1 run more than the Jays With these 2 secret keys, we should win this game.
  22. He was a breath of fresh air through those first 3 innings compared to what we have been getting. I would definitely like to see him start again.
  23. He was rock solid yesterday. I don’t mind.
  24. Valid point.
  25. Yup and the Yankees are getting it together as we knew they would. One game back of Tampa.
