    It's natural to get upset after a loss like this though. I'm not saying you're wrong, but Barnes blew it again. Simple as that..... Whether he had good pitchers or not. He blew it as he has all season. But all the blame does not go on him. The offense did what they needed to do so they are off the hook in my opinion. But Sale needs to be better. Yes he rebounded but man that first inning was a total train wreck. If he comes out with a strong first we win this regardless how that 9th played out. The pitching was not good today from top to bottom.

    What a joke. Two days off now, will be nice. This team is stressful to watch. Though the offense came through. Barnes was a total joke and Sale had a joke of a first. All in all the pitching was s*** today. Let's not pretend. Sale still wasn't great even though he rebounded.

    I think Workman could be a valid closer. Almost anybody other than friggin Barnes. Hell with what he gave us today I think I might as well go out and give it a try with my 50 mph fast ball.

    Or one if anything. Honestly Barnes is fine in any other inning. Give him the 7th or 8th and let Workman close. I don't see how Cora doesn't see this. It blows my mind.

    I'm amazed Barnes even comes out for the 9th. I would be so damn embarrassed if I was him, I would just hide if my number was called to close.

    I just don't get it.... Barnes is a totally different pitcher in the 9th than he is the rest of the innings. I guess he just can't take the pressure.

    Barnes has been solid outside of that Jays game. He usually gives up a hit but outside of that Jays game he hasn't given up a run since the 10th.
