    Ya that’s fair. I think it depends what Porcello asks for. He wants to stay in Boston so would likely be generous with what he takes.

    Until yesterday Porcello has been a solid 3rd guy in the rotation. He gives us consistently more innings than a lot of 2nd guys in the rotation do. Very rare to see him not go 6 or more. Those off games happen. Ask Sale. He’s had many this year.

    Good point. And then a team like Oakland who probably has less money than I do consistently makes playoffs. Baseball is strange. Granted poor Oakland never seems to make it too far in the playoffs.

    Would be our luck if E Rod gave us 5 decent innings and the offense doesn’t produce like they did yesterday. Generally happens when the pitching is good.

    I don’t even know what to say anymore. We are 1-5 against this team and now 2 games out of a Wild Card spot. Crap Rod is pitching so we are likely screwed. Please prove me wrong and not ruin my entire weekend.

    Ya sadly I don’t know how we are still in the race. We look flat out horrible lately.

    Ya tomorrow scares me. E Rod just isn’t that good and the Yankees are on fire with hitting right now. They look like us from last year. Then we have a series against Toronto who already beat us last time we played them. Offense was awesome today even with players resting. 13 runs should be enough to win a game. Porcello should be ashamed of himself for that performance. This season has been ugly but still a long way to go so who knows.

    With this loss we are 3 games out of. A playoff spot. Tomorrow could be 4. This team is going nowhere.

    Doesn’t matter, Shitrod Is pitching for us tomorrow. We will need at least 18 runs for us to even have a chance tomorrow

    If we lose this which looks like we will. We are 1-5 against the Yanks? I would say we have zero chance at beating them come playoffs but of course you have to make playoffs for us to even have a shot. I think we will be 3 games out of a playoff spot after today. We are a disaster.
