    Aviles was coming off TJ Sugery and typically hits .300 which is gold for a backup player. And his defnese at 2B and SS is above average. He's hit well with us but people are s***ing on him because his defense is poor outside of his position. It's really not his fault that Tito put him in right field.

    Aviles' defense is just fine when he's playing a natural position like SS or 2B. He has little to no experience at 3B and RF.

    It didn't look like Bard ever tagged Ellsbury and then the ball came out of his hand and was pinned against his arm and then on top of his chest protector.
