  1. I certainly don't mind that. I prefer pitchers duels over slugfests. I just wish we could at least put the ball in play
  2. I will concede that is a little concerning to see the bottom 3 in the lineup do virtually nothing but strikeout yesterday
  3. Are we just going to ignore the fact that he said Devers is down in the minors?
  4. We may actually play this one. Rain seems to be moving on about 2 or 3 pm. But it's raining so hard right now. You would think they would try to play it at all costs though
  5. Finally just got home, as I took a detour to my future hometown to do some exploring on the way home, which also led to some wrong turns. Anyway, all I can really say is this: We got outplayed. That simple. Over the course of 162, that happens sometimes. Nothing I saw today was really concerning to me. Seattle was just the better team today
  6. Rainout tomorrow. Weather is s*****
  7. Oh boy, I have to make sure I record that just in case!
  8. If you heard somebody yell "I want my money back" that was a heckler near me who has been going at the beer concessions since the 1st inning
  9. This made me laugh so hard
  10. For one thing, this is the first sporting event I have been to since February 2020, and first Sox game since July 2019. So, very literally speaking, I'm just happy to be here
  11. Most of us at the ballpark are still having fun
  12. I'm stuck next to a yeller. FFS dude how are you already drunk
  13. No on field BP? What a joke
  14. Absolutely gorgeous day up here in Boston! Making our way to Fenway now
  15. On Opening Day, Mark Derosa of MLB Network said the Brewers had the best pitching staff in the game. Everybody laughed at him, but he may be into something. They definitely have the best closer in the game, which sure comes in handy on the back end.
  16. A win is a win but I hope the HR Barnes gave up isn't the start of a concerning trend
  17. I hate how inconsistent he is though. If I knew which Ottavino would show up on a given night, I could save myself a lot of stress
  18. Whitlock deserves to get the win. Not sure how that scoring will work but he's earning it tonight
  19. In honor of the late DMX, "X gon give it to ya"
  20. Ok I'll take 2 from that, although the DP was a major letdown
  21. Might be a COVID thing
  22. No run scored but that does count as a hit with RISP!
  23. Yeah hopefully he starts hitting out sooner rather than later
  24. Come on give me a crooked number here so I can go watch Netflix
  25. How about moving Ottavino to left bench?
