  1. My generation calls that GTS. Google (or Googling) that s***
  2. What a wonderful day. Yankees are in 4th place
  3. He was in the original starting lineup
  4. Why am I so positive? Because I expected this team to compete for last place with the Orioles. Because they are exceeding my expectations and then some, I'm okay with the 3 game slide in Houston. I'm okay when we get a bad starting pitching performance or when we leave runners on base. But, most importantly of all, as long as we win the game, I don't give a damn what happened along the way. It's not how; it's how many. All that matters at the end of the season is the number in the win column. I think it's fair to assume that many other people here had pessimistic expectations for the 2021 Red Sox. Maybe not as bad as mine, but I'd go so far as to say that the Sox are exceeding just about anybody's expectations. As such, how can so many people still find a way to bitch and moan every single night about menial details? The most enjoyable seasons as fans are when your team is projected to be bad and ends up being a top 5 team. That's us right now. We're playing with house money. I just can't fathom how anybody can complain so much when we're outperforming like this.
  5. Today is the final day before I start my professional career. Let's keep it going. When we're on a roll like this, I plan my entire day around the Sox
  6. I hope last night's game shuts up all you E-Rod haters
  7. Santana DH Verdugo LF Bogaerts SS Devers 3B Renfroe RF Gonzalez 2B Hernandez CF Vazquez C Dalbec 1B
  8. If Cora had expectations as high and patience as low as you we would have traded the entire team away after Wednesday's game
  9. I think E-Rod is close to turning the corner. He pitched better than his stats indicated on Monday on Houston. Hopefully tonight is the night he shows some life
  10. Not without an MLB.TV subscription. But I believe I would be blacked out anyway
  11. Yes, I've been settled for a few days now. I live 15 minutes (by car) from Fenway, yet I still cannot watch most Sox games, since my cable provider, YouTube TV, dropped NESN over the winter. So, Fox and ESPN games are my only opportunities, since I am blacked out otherwise. Same situation as when I was in CT
  12. Great win everybody! Excited to be able to watch the last 2 games of this series
  13. Both catchers are automatic outs.
  14. Hence the recent trends across the leagues (mostly Tampa) with using openers and not letting your starter face the lineup 3 times.
  15. Yep. Just goes to show you that every pitch counts
  16. Make this quick Barnes. The showers are calling me
  17. King was that good after the 1st
  18. 3 foul tips or dribblers maybe. But not 3 foul home runs in a row
  19. Casas homered for Team USA tonight
  20. Great hustle play from Marwin! 2 hits tonight is a good sign
  21. Rangers are beating the Rays 5-0. Baseball is a funny game
  22. Either way, I hope it's nothing serious. Despite the heart palpitations he causes, he is our second best relief pitcher
  23. Alright we made it through. Barnes-o-clock
