    Yeah, I found that out from my former roommate, who is a diehard Yankees fan. I was as surprised as you when I heard it. Shows you how bad their offense is.

    Perhaps a little bit of both. All 3 of the Astros starters that beat us performed above their 2021 splits. Were they on that night, or were we off?

    That right there is the cause of the 3 game losing streak. It's very rare when most of your lineup is slumping at the same time. Hopefully enough guys came out of it yesterday to allow us to overcome those who are still struggling

    Very excited for this weekend! The key will be our offense. The Yankees have not won a game all season in which their opponent scored 5 runs or more. Pitch well enough and we should be able to outscore them.

    I've been so busy with my move the last few days that I haven't spent any time in the game threads. I must say it made the losses 1000x better to handle. I never felt overly concerned. I knew we would snap out of it at some point. I'm sure some here thought the world was ending and our season was over.

    Just checked the score as I was waiting for the T. This is more like it!

    The slid we've found ourselves in comes at a perfect time for me. I've listened to about 5 innings the last 2 nights as I get settled in my new home in greater Boston.

    We'll break out of this funk. Ebbs and flows of a 162 game season. Would love for it to be today so we can head to New York with at least some momentum

    Yeah, Will Flemming was not kind to their bullpen on the radio broadcast today. One of the few worse than ours, I would imagine. Not to say ours is bad, but many perceive them to be that way

    Enjoy it! Be glad you didn't go today. I always hate going the night after a loss. Gives me an uneasy feeling, especially in a visitor's ballpark
