  1. The leaders of tomorrow still watch it.
  2. As they say on SportsCenter, M-M-M-Mookie!
  3. Cueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeto
  4. Well, let me just stop you right there. I'm Jimmy Fallon's character in Fever Pitch, minus the season tickets. Therefore, sit down, shut up, and let me do me.
  5. Not necessarily... Our deficit in the WC right now, 8 games, is less than what we blew in 2011. It's possible. The way we've played since I've been in Rhode Island, it's possible.
  6. We should be able to pound this guy, but if we can't, Miley should be able to help us out. We took 2 out of 3 from these guys in early June right after we hit rock bottom, which then led to my posting of the thread "Who is the Biggest Problem Right Now?"
  7. Hold on.... Is Broseph Kelly on his way to a QS? Am I seeing this right?
  8. We've beaten aces this year. Remember Saturday? We're 2-0 against Felix. We've also beaten Gray, and Ventura, and others. Why not Kluber?
  9. This is the by far the stupidest thing I have read on these boards in a while. It makes absolutely no sense to me. What does Jim Leyland have to do with anything that Dombrowski's bringing with him?
  10. IIRC, he was also pretty decent in Baltimore
  11. To go along with the $20 you will lose in a few weeks from the fantasy league.
  12. I'll ruin it then. I'm not watching games right now until we have a win streak of two or more. I still follow them on my phone, but don't see the need of posting in the game thread.
  13. Billy Butler' double in the 10th won it. How did that happen?
  14. I'm crying tears of joy. This is a dream come true. Since Day 1, I've waited for the day Cherington leaves.
  15. You two sound like an old married couple.
  16. No matter how we look back at last winter, at least we can feel good going into this winter. His name eludes me at the moment, but the old Angels GM who was hired to come in to help Cherington devise an offseason plan seems to know his stuff. I'm very curious to see what kind of moves he tells Cherington to make. I still want to see Cherington let go, but this is a good consolation prize.
  17. I agree. We have a track record of marquee free agent signings that pan out, like Crawford, Gonzalez, Drew, and so on. You could put Hanley, Porcello, Miley, and Sandoval in that list, but I won't, because it hasn't been enough time yet.
  18. Well, that is really only because Tito is in town. I'm sure he would still call him before and after or something like that if he weren't here, but he wouldn't leave his team if they weren't in Boston.
  19. Very true. How naive of me.
  20. What were the offensive rankings before the weekend series against Seattle? 45 runs in 3 games is pretty darn good.
  21. You could actually make an argument for it, if it weren't for his enthusiasm. He's gotta be the biggest cheerleader in the clubhouse.

So happy for JDay. Been a fan of his for a long time now. He's such a nice guy, and does everything right. Did anyone see how classy Spieth was coming down the stretch? That's who I want to be.
  23. Jose Altuve in about 10 years. I hate this idea, and I hate every part of it. He's a lifer with this club, and there's no way he'd let himself be traded.
  24. So you're the one responsible for 37 runs in two games? Let's keep it going.
  25. Didn't I say that I thought Farrell's cancer would be a rallying point for this team?
