  1. Or the Thunder logo with a Crying Jordan in place of the basketball.
  2. I don't remember my 1st game. All I know is that we sat under the CF scoreboard... Crappy seats. I think it was sometime in or around 2005. All I remember. I would have been 6 turning 7.
  3. They were in an AL ballpark, so if they are forced to play a DH, they must be forced to incorporate the 7 run rule.
  4. Seems that way. I saw Hazel Mae last night... She's the sideline reporter for the Blue Jays now. I guess answering to Buck Martinez advances her aging process because she is far removed from her glory days.
  5. It ruins the game. I like baseball as it is. Umpires are a part of the game. They always have been.
  6. If Will Middlebrooks hadn't implanted his other bat into Jenny Dell, we would still have her right about now.
  7. I can't wait for the Sox-Giants series next week in San Fran. With two other Bay Area teams in their League's Finals, and this being an even year with the Giants playing well, it's going to be amped up out there.
  8. I'm afraid this is going to cool down his bat, which we can't really afford right now. Good thing his hit streak ended before this leave of absence.
  9. If that happens, I will never watch baseball again.
  10. I like OKC Blunder better.
  11. Clearly you've never heard of lighthearted fun.
  12. I'm shocked that ball carried so far. That B-more humidity will do that to ya.
  13. I thought this O's offense was supposed to be really good????? :)
  14. Bogey pounding the ball into the corner, both of the field and Showalter's skull.
  15. It's only the 3rd inning and Buck has already wanted to challenge two calls, but has only challenged one.
  16. Great running by the Mookster!!!!
  17. Not a problem. Cloudy skies, but no rain in the area. It all went out to sea.
  18. In that situation, complaining is justifiable. I have no problem with that.
  19. Welcome! Ignore The Old Fart's Rogue State comment. He says that to everybody, and it lost its humor eons ago, before any of us were born. No offense, Spud!
  20. And in that department, I still think umpires are doing the best job they possibly can. They have too high expectations placed on them.
  21. I meant that an out call at second base in the first inning that was in question had no impact on a 9-2 win. In that case, just let it go. And I was referring to players, not fans, or Talksox users. I've accepted that the world is full of complainers.
  22. Another thing is that as long as you win the game, you have no right whatsoever to bring up the umpiring, or lack thereof.
  23. The last thing he wants to do is play for Scott Brooks again. Believe me. This game tonight though will be the determining factor in whether or not KD stays, and I know deep down that it will take a miracle for the Thunder to win.
  24. The problem with that is some douchebags like Bryce Harper would still throw a tantrum when he gets called out on a pitch just catching the inside corner to end an ST game, never mind a playoff game.
