  1. That's not necessary. I don't mind it at all. I have thick skin so I can take it, and since it's not meant towards me, that doesn't even matter. I have a great deal of respect for (most) Yankees fans, growing up around so many in divided territory. Most of my closest friends are Yankees fans. In the midst of the so called "crackdown" on attacking signatures, I was just inquiring to be sure it wasn't meant toward me. We're good. Leave it up if you want.
  2. I just noticed your signature. If that's meant to mock me and my typical pregame post, I'd kindly appreciate you removing it. Not sure what I ever did to you.
  3. It's times like these where I still feel like a dumb kid.
  4. Not gonna lie, I laughed pretty hard at this. At the end of the day, the key to victory is outscoring your opponent. Big facts.
  5. Yes, but he would be gassed up to pitch at Fenway on Ring Day. Whoever does will be as well
  6. Assuming everything is fine, I vote we bump him from his next scheduled start on Sunday so he can pitch the home opener. The 2 extra days rest can't hurt
  7. I went to bed after the 3rd inning, so I didn't witness first hand how dominating he ended up being. Maybe my statement was hyperbole. I'm just concerned because a diminished fastball means that guys can wait for that pitch and then jump all over it, like Seattle did on Opening Day.
  8. Valid point. Low to mid 50s I believe. Very wet too
  9. I've been saying for the last couple days, as soon as we go home, everything's going to change. Seeing those rings will light a fire. Nobody should ever have to start on an 11 game road trip, especially one that is entirely across the country. Think about this: Our last home game in Fort Myers was on 3/23. That's a whopping 17 days between "home games". Plus, you incorporate the preparedness issues that notin brought up, which I think are valid, and you have a recipe for disaster. But, it won't last. It never does. It's baseball.
  10. I would rather have Sale be hurt and miss significant time than have this be the new norm. Something was seriously wrong with him. Not just his velocity, but also his tempo.
  11. Don't you live in Texas or something?
  12. Oh s***.... That clever bastard. This could have all been a prank
  13. I know that Thunder BJ mojo has been outlawed, but it's worth pointing out that we're 1-0 this season when I get one, and 0-4 when I don't. If we lose tonight, I'm going to have to hit Tinder pretty hard tomorrow.
  14. Figured this might turn up eventually...
  15. We need a slump buster
  16. If we trade Mookie, I will cease being a Sox fan
  17. Good thing about another 10 PM start is I'll be back in time after volunteering to do tax returns for foreign students. Win. Dance. Repeat.
  18. I don't think they're that hot, I just wanted to know where he found them. I'm fairly innocent compared to most 20 year old boys.
  19. I'm just curious: What do you type into Google to find all of these lovely ladies?
  20. When I flew to Fort Myers two weeks ago, our flight left at 5:15 AM. It was a 2:45 AM wake up call, since we're about 45 minutes from the airport
  21. That's exactly why I don't hate the Yankees as much as all of you. In my lifetime, they haven't gotten in our way.
  22. Even I'm too old for this s***. Well, not really, but I'm an Honors student with an Information Systems exam tomorrow morning
  23. Whoever started the Black Sox scandal. I'm too tired to look it up
  24. Plus, it's impossible to start as well as we did last season. Take the Yankees as an example. They still won 100 games, but they hovered around .500 for most of April. We're fine. It's important to establish now that we just can't be the same team as we were last year. Last year was magical. It wasn't a fluke, but it will be hard to be that good again. We still have a chance to win the WS this year, but there's no way we'll be as dominating in the process.
  25. I was done last night when Gonzaga lost
